He has to have someone forever
For all of her nights for all of her days
For all of the wet sex and all of the ways
I hate myself but I want to fix it
She hates herself but wants to fix it
The evils want to nicks could be working
Or it could be worth it, I think it's worth it
There's levels to this shit and ya knows that
Repent for being bent, repent for being spent
Repent for leaving, repent for leaving
I hate myself but I want to fix it
She hates herself but wants to fix it
It could be worth it, it could be worth it
Love her, love her, yow, I love her
[?] baby electric eyes piercing through me
She said she not worthy
Oh baby cut it with them lies what you want from me baby
Oh girl I'm not worthy
No words, no words
She said she's not worthy
No words, no words
Oh girl I'm not worthy
She looks for comfort in whoever
He has to have someone forever
For all of her nights for all of her days
For all of the wet sex and all of the ways
I hate myself but I want to fix it
She hates herself but wants to fix it
The evils want to nicks could be working
Or it could be worth it, I think it's worth it
Her love is worth it and ya she knows this
There's levels to this shit and ya she need to know this
Repent for being bent, repent for being spent
Repent for being a dick, repent for leaving
I hate myself but I want to fix it
She hates herself but wants to fix it
It could be worth it, it could be worth it
Love her, love her
Oh baby, baby electric eyes piercing through me
She said she not worthy
Oh baby don't tell lies what you want from me baby
Oh girl I'm not worthy
No words, no words
She said she's not worthy
No words, no words
Girl I'm not worthy
The lyrics of Kid Cudi's "Worth" express the struggles of two individuals who are trying to find value and worth in themselves through relationships with others. The first verse describes a girl who seeks comfort in whoever is around, and a guy who cannot function without being in a relationship. Despite their issues, they both want to fix themselves and believe that the process may be worth it, especially for the love that they are capable of giving and receiving. They acknowledge that there are different levels of emotions and experiences, but at the end of the day, they need to repent and take responsibility for their actions. The chorus repeats the desire to love and be loved, using vivid imagery of electric eyes that pierce through the singer.
The second verse has a similar structure as the first, with a repetition of certain lines and words. The girl again claims that she is not worthy, and the singer urges her to stop lying about herself and what she wants. He too admits that he is not worthy, but they both continue to seek out connections with others in the hopes of finding meaning and validation. Overall, the song captures the complex and often painful nature of relationships and self-worth, while also expressing a glimmer of hope that it may all be worth it in the end.
