Having spent the majority of the early part of his career behind the control board and not the mic, Kid Ink crafting his production skills working with multi-platinum artists like Sean βDiddyβ Combs and Sean Kingston as well Yung Berg and Nipsey Hussle. Production came natural for Kid Ink, "I started making the beats because I already had several artists trying the rap thing out, so I thought I would be more useful supplying the production." But sitting behind the board was not enough for Kid Ink. Just a few short years ago, Kid Ink picked up the mic and a new contender in the Hip-Hop game was born.
Honing his skills as a songwriter creating hooks for his beats, Kid Ink stepped up his lyrical repertoire with full length and completed songs.
2010 was a breakout year in the young rapperβs career. Teaming up with world-renowned DJ ill Will and DJ Rockstarβs newly formed Tha Alumni Music Group; Kid Ink became more focused in his grind and began working on the underground hit, Crash Landing Mixtape. His hard work paid off and the music industry began to take notice. Within 10 days of its release, Crash Landing garnered critical acclaim, a position at the top of Datpiff.comβs βTop Mixtapes of the Weekβ section and amassed an astonishing 50 thousand downloads.

Fans went ballistic over the album that featured all original production from the likes of The Runners, Lex Luger, Jahlil Beats, Cardiak & Tha Bizness as well as major features from the Cory Gunz, Meek Mill, Ray J, Sean Kingston, Dorrough, Bei Maejor and more.
Bucking the norm of waiting for a major label deal to kick off his career, the rapper has taken his fate in to his own hands and crafted an internet campaign that rivals many of the acts resting high on the Billboard charts. With videos under his belt including Internet sensations βLowkey Poppin,β βPleaseβ and βCali Dreamin,ββ Kid Ink is definitely rockinβ to his own beat.
Kid Ink continued his 2011 tear by releasing βWheels Up,β yet another all original Mixtape on October 10th to an overwhelming response. Once again outdoing the numbers his previous project accumulated. Following the release of βWheels Up,β Ink has been on a mini βWheels Upβ tour including stops in the Bay Area, Denmark, New York, Boston, Toronto, Denver & Chicago to name a few, performing to packed crowds of 600-2,000.

After the immediate sales success of βUp & Away,β Ink found himself in a bidding war with all the major labels. Starting off the New Year in 2012 Ink decided to sign a major label deal with RCA Records. On January 3rd, 2013 Ink announced his signing and launched his debut Major Label single βBad Assβ feat MMG heavyweights Wale & Meek Mill.

Really four below, it don't make no sense
Tried to tell you before not to lose yourself
Don't you worry I'll be here when its no one left
Tell you what it is, everybody ain't a friend
Watch them change like a pen, I'll be here when its no one left
Put your mind in the game, call up on what they say
You forgot about the plan
Uh, sitting back, talking to myself
Been a long way around like Buddha's belt
Remember when ,these lames wouldn't fuck with me
Track star, now they all tryin' to run with me
Friend or foe, you never know
It's a blind game, be in the way you going
Get your mind right, and leave the left overs
Got the weight of an entire team on my shoulders
So I showed them I'm everything the world may
Tryin' to get paid, blow up like the World Trade
Please
Don't you get it, twist it like a whirlwind
I will never change, never change 'till the fucking end
TruTV, all these niggas so pretend in your face
Complimenting when they really know they spend every day
Talking shit yeah it smells like a mouthful
Hotter that I get, these niggas colder than the South Pole
Now you walking around like you hot to death
Really four below, it don't make no sense
Tried to tell you before not to lose yourself
Don't you worry I'll be here when its no one left
Tell you what it is, everybody ain't a friend
Watch them change like a pen, I'll be here when its no one left
Put your mind in the game, call up on what they say
You forgot about the plan
Tried to tell you not to lose yourself
What's happenin'? Can you tell me what happened
Is it fame over passion, seem a little distracted
In a couple situations you ain't used to
Now look around pay attention it ain't no discounts
These niggas is selling souls for their name on a cloud
Don't you worry about me, bitch I came for the doubt
I'm so concrete
Two feet to the ground
About to fuck shit up
But I came into town
Think you need to slow it down
Tryin' to run shit
Lost in the sauce, get a compass
High off life, barely even conscious
Livin' in a dream, you forgot what it means to
Not have a thing from a block full of fiends
These streets are a monster
Happy Halloween
Now I'm knocking at your door
With a mask on
Feeling like this life
Isn't everything you asked for
Now you walking around like you hot to death
Really four below, it don't make no sense
Tried to tell you before not to lose yourself
Don't you worry I'll be here when its no one left
Tell you what it is, everybody ain't a friend
Watch them change like a pen, I'll be here when its no one left
Put your mind in the game, call up on what they say
You forgot about the plan
Tried to tell you not to lose yourself
The lyrics in Kid Ink's song "No One Left" warn against losing oneself in the pursuit of fame or success. The opening lines, "Now you walking around like you hot to death / Really four below, it don't make no sense," criticize those who get caught up in their own hype and lose sight of reality. Kid Ink reminds listeners not to forget who they are and the plan they had before all the attention. He notes that not everyone is a true friend and that people can change quickly when success is on the line.
The second verse continues the theme of staying grounded in the face of success. Kid Ink reflects on his own journey and how others treated him when he was just starting out. He acknowledges that it's hard to tell who is a friend and who is a foe in the entertainment industry, but he urges listeners to keep their minds focused and not get distracted by people or situations that aren't in line with their values.
The final verse returns to the theme of losing oneself in pursuit of success. Kid Ink questions whether fame is worth sacrificing one's passion for, and he warns against selling one's soul for a chance at success. He acknowledges the dangers of getting lost in the "sauce," or the glamour and excitement of success, and urges listeners to stay grounded and not forget where they came from.
Overall, "No One Left" is a cautionary tale about staying true to oneself and one's values despite the allure of fame and success. It's a reminder to stay grounded and be wary of those who might not have one's best interests at heart.
