The band have released four studio albums, "Trickster" (1998), "Zerøspace" (2002), and "Trypt0fanatic" (2010). An EP "The Invisible Plan" (2011). And a remix EP "Phi In The Sky" (2001), released in between "Trickster" & "Zerøspace".
The band re-released "Trickster" as "Trickstereprocess" in 2004, which included 5 new bonus tracks, along with a bonus DVD. After the release of "Trickstereprocess", the group called it quits and went their separate ways. Free Dominguez went on to create an indie project while Bruce Somers created the band Shocknina.
In January of 2007, Free Dominguez sent out a newsletter via email stating that she and Bruce are collaborating once again on brand new Kidneythieves material. These sessions resulted in the brand new album "Tryptofanatic".
Kidneythieves have hired bassist Mirv Douglas and are working on their new EP "The Invisible Plan" to be released in October 2011.

We take the stuck-up posers & status-quosers & we burn them in the ground, ground
I knew a girl, she had telepathic dreams
She saw things they didn't want her to see
So she turned away, looked to the sky
And then she said "fuck it, I'm gonna let my freak flag fly"
This is the time of our lives
(You freeky people!)
Let out the freak inside
(You freeky people!)
I knew a boy, wanted to be free
So he watched his father to learn how not to be
You can't change the system but you can, you can change inside
I've got a new religion, it's called "No More Lies"
We are the freeky people, the freeky people that make the world go round, round
We take the stuck-up posers & status-quosers & we burn them in the ground, ground
We are the freeky people, the freeky people that make the world go round, round
We take the stuck-up posers & status-quosers & we burn them in the ground, ground
This is the time of our lives
(You freeky people!)
Let out the freak inside
(You freeky people!)
Come on now
Give it up, give it up
Let it out & live it up
Give it up, give it up
Let it out & live it up
(You freeky people.)
(You freeky people.)
(You freeky people.)
Give it up, give it up
Let it out & live it up
Give it up, give it up
Let it out & live it up
Give it up, give it up
Let it out & live it up
Give it up, give it up
Let it out & live it up
This is the time of our lives
(You freeky people!)
Let out the freak inside
(You freeky people!)
The lyrics of Kidneythieves’ ‘Freeky People’ embrace and celebrate the weird and wonderful, encouraging people to be true to themselves and embrace their individuality. They describe a community of people who reject societal norms and burn the ‘stuck-up posers and status-quosers’ in the ground. The lyrics tell the stories of two people who refuse to conform to the expectations placed upon them. The first is a girl who has telepathic dreams and sees things that others do not want her to see. Instead of backing down, she embraces her freakiness and lets her ‘freak flag fly’. The second is a boy who wants to be free, but learns from his father’s mistakes and decides to change himself from within. He adopts a new religion of ‘No More Lies’ – a commitment to radical honesty and self-expression.
The song is ultimately a call to action for other ‘freeky people’ to let out their inner freaks and live their best lives. The chorus repeats the line ‘This is the time of our lives’ and encourages listeners to ‘let out the freak inside’. Overall, the song is an uplifting anthem for those who feel like outsiders to embrace their uniqueness and reject societal pressure to conform.

Awesome! I am quie glad I checked this response to "God in Fire" out. Will definitely be checking out more from these guys. Simply awesome shit, love how Free Dominguez's voice is feminine, but not operatic, and adds to the atmosphere. I think it's safe to say I now have a new band to add to my favorites.

Its more eclectic than the other ones, less niche, but its still very good. Very hooky. Being eclectic its not the same as being a sell out.
