Some interesting things to note..
-At the contest where they made their first debut, the name they gave themselves was SEPIA. Because of their debut however, they realized that it wasn't the best name for them, and they ended up changing it to Kids Alive.
-Keiji and Akihiro were already in a band when they scouted Yuta at a school festival because Keiji's voice was maturing and could no longer handle higher notes. Yuta was still in middle school at this time while the other two were already in high school.
-Keiji writes most of the music and lyrics for the band. Yuta has written two songs while Akihiro one.
-Their first single was actually "New Dream," but this was debuted before they were signed under Motherland.

The lyrics of the song "Arigatou" by Kids Alive reflect themes of gratitude, reminiscence, and a hopeful farewell. The opening lines describe the sun softly setting in the red sky, evoking a sense of peaceful transition. The swirling memories are held tightly in the heart as they prepare to embark on a journey, marking a bittersweet moment of saying goodbye. Despite the farewell, there is an assurance that it is not a final goodbye but rather a "see you later," emphasizing the enduring connection between the individuals involved.
The chorus expresses a heartfelt gratitude for the time spent together, expressing the sentiment that meeting the other person was a positive experience. The repeated "thank you now, thank you" conveys a deep appreciation for the shared moments and the impact the other person has had. The desire to convey important feelings and emotions, even amidst tears and smiles, highlights the significance of the connection and the need to express gratitude before parting ways.
As the lyrics progress, the imagery of the setting sun transforming into the morning sun symbolizes the cyclical nature of life and the inevitability of change. Despite being in different places in the future, there is a reassurance that the bond shared will remain constant. The emphasis on the other person being forever cherished and valued emphasizes the depth of the relationship and the enduring impact they have on each other's lives.
The final verses express a tender plea for the other person to stay as they are, without looking back, and to hold onto the heartfelt words shared in parting. The repeated expressions of gratitude and acknowledgment of not forgetting the other person signify a deep emotional connection that transcends physical distance. The lyrics affirm that the bond created between them, symbolized by the "kizuna" or connection, will never break, no matter how far apart they may be. The hopeful tone of eventually meeting again, accompanied by the melodic "la la la" at the end, creates a sense of optimism and the belief in reunions and enduring relationships.

Lol I thought this was a Japanese song when I was young. We used to do calisthenics with this song. We used to think that the chorus of the song has "arigatou" word on it. 😂

When I was grade 7 I joined an organization on school. They teach us a lot of stuff. But in the end they do a froggy dance. I've search it literally after I heard that song. But didn't find one. Then 1 years later I finally found it ! First I thought this was Japanese song, but it didn't. BTW why you're not producing video anymore?
