Eleven Kidz Bop albums have been released to date. Each album features different pop music songs, played with music similar to the original, and with the "Kidz Bop Kids" singing instead of the original artist. Albums are typically released within a few months of each other and thus the songs included tend to be the hit songs of the current time, including such songs such as "Float On" (Modest Mouse), "This Love" (Maroon 5), and "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" (Green Day).
Although the albums are marketed as being "sanitized" versions of popular songs for children, many of the songs featured on the Kidz Bop albums still contain explicit sexual material, such as Rob Thomas's "Lonely No More," which some people consider inappropriate for younger audiences. Other featured songs, such as "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", contain profanity. Although the albums censor the actual word from the song, the context of the profanity remains. They also covered Green Day's hit "Wake Me Up When September Ends", which is about death.
The Kidz Bop video for their cover of Avril Lavigne's "Sk8r Boi", for instance, features the song being sung by a pre-teen girl in heavy make-up, fishnet stockings, and a Sex Pistols t-shirt.
It's Not Over

It all seemed to make sense
You're taking away everything
And I can't deal with that
I try to see the good in life
But good things in life are hard to find
We'll blow it away, blow it away
Well, I'll try to do to it right this time around
Let's start over
I'll try to do it right this time around, it's not over
'Cause a part of me is dead and in the ground
This love is killing me but you're the only one
It's not over
I've taken all I can take and I cannot wait
We're wasting too much time
Being strong, holding on
Can't let it bring us down
My life with you means everything
So I won't give up that easily
I blow it away, blow it away
Can we make this something good?
'Cause it's all misunderstood
Well, I'll try to do to it right this time around
Let's start over
I'll try to do it right this time around, it's not over
'Cause a part of me is dead and in the ground
This love is killing me but you're the only one
It's not over
You can't let this get away
Let it out, let it out
Don't get caught up in yourself
Let it out
Let's start over
I'll try to do to it right this time around, it's not over
'Cause a part of me is dead and in the ground
This love is killing me but you're the only one
It's not over
Let's start over
It's not over, oh yeah
This love is killing me but you're the only one
It's not over
The song "It's Not Over" by KIDZ BOP Kids tells the story of a person who struggles with a relationship that seems to be falling apart. The opening lines express the confusion and shock that the person feels when they realize their partner is leaving them. They feel overwhelmed by the situation and can't believe what is happening. However, instead of giving up, they decide to fight for the relationship and try to make it work.
In the second verse, the person reflects on the difficulties they have faced in their life and the challenges they have overcome. They try to see the good in life but admit that it can be hard to find. Despite this, they are determined to make things work with their partner, even if it means starting over and doing things differently this time around.
The chorus of the song emphasizes the message that the relationship is not over and that there is still hope for love. The person is willing to put in the effort to save the relationship and not let it slip away. They believe that they can make something good out of their love and that it is worth fighting for.
Overall, "It's Not Over" is a song about hope, perseverance, and the power of love to overcome obstacles.
