Slightly left-of-center pop artist Kiiara is a breathy vocalist whose output falls somewhere between that of Jhenรฉ Aiko and Lorde. Born in May 24, 1995, The Wilmington, Illinois native previously recorded as Kiara Saulters and independently issued the homey acoustic pop song "Bring Me Back" in 2013. Eventually signed to major-label Atlantic, she worked with the Cataracs' Niles Hollowell-Dhar and David Singer-Vine, as well as Brenton Duvall and Felix Snow, and recorded Low Kii Savage. The EP, which alternated between downcast electronic pop and bass-heavy, trap-style rap production, was a radical change in direction. Preceded by the breakout single "Gold," it was released in March 2016.
The following year, she appeared on the Linkin Park single "Heavy," which broke into the Top 50 of Billboard's Hot 100 and peaked at number two on the Hot Rock Songs chart. Later that year, she issued the singles "Whippin" with Felix Snow and "Wishlist." After featuring on Cheat Codes' 2018 track, "Put Me Back Together," Kiiara released her own single, "Messy."

i've seen her do gold 2 times live now and neither of them were "good" performances. she can't hold a note for the life of her. it sucks bc i am obsessed with her music but she's got no logevity to her career if she cannot sing live (which she cannot.) if you can link me to a live performance where she actually sounds good, then do it. but she better not be off key like all the videos i've seen hahahah.

Mermen0 she looks extremely uncomfortable live. she looks uninterested and like she doesn't care and doesn't wanna be there. she doesn't make eye contact and she seems totally unsure of herself. being awkward isn't a bad thing. it makes her unique, but she needs to work majorly on stage presence and performance skills. maybe if she got a voice coach she could actually become really big in the industry, bc her music is addictive and very radio friendly. she's interesting but she's got a lot of work to do.
