He discovered dubstep while studying music tech at City College in Manchester. Joe McBridge aka Synkro gave him a jump start with a bunch of samples and he hasnโt looked back.
With releases on PlayMe2, Innariddim, Foul Play, Imperative and Eight:FX, KillaHurtz has been making waves. Snapped up StandonDj with an endorsement deal, he is the 5th member of electronic band //MIDNIGHT// and continues to push the envelope with his own productions.
Rooted in dubstep, KillaHurtz strongly believes in splicing genres to form new creations.

This is from the days where a DJ would spend $10-12 for a vinyl with one (two if the B side was a banger) song. Today many people would not spend $1.29 on a mp3. But, the thrill and challenge of the vinyl quest was a sentiment to be had.

AND you'd have to sometimes hunt it down. !!! scarce copies etc. such a buzz when you got a record nice and crisp that was tough to get hold of.

I spent $40 dollars on this record getting it shipped to the states from England around 15 years ago. I still have it. Going to the record store and browsing what they had or when I went traveling I would look around for the record store in that city.
