Killarmy released numerous singles from 1995 to 1997, including "Swinging Swords" and "Camouflage Ninjas" as well as the Sunz Of Man collaborations "Wake Up" and "Soldiers of Darkness". The album Silent Weapons For Quiet Wars was released in 1997 just after the release of the Wu-Tang Clan's second album, as well as a 12" single containing two tracks from the album, "Wu-Renegades" and "Clash of the Titans". Shortly after the group's manager General Wise was shot dead in Steubenville, but the group pressed on undeterred, appearing on the Wu-Tang Killa Bees: The Swarm compilation and each making numerous appearances on other Wu-Tang projects from the Clansmen themselves and from other affiliates. The group's second album Dirty Weaponry was released in 1998 and the third, Fear, Love & War was released on September 11, 2001. In 2002, the group received some controversy following the Washington D.C. sniper attacks. On an episode of Tim Russert's Meet the Press, Russert and Montgomery County police chief Charles Moose stated that Killarmy influenced the shootings, and referenced a number of lyrics to support the claims. Despite the press attention, nothing materialized from the accusations. In 2002, Dom Pachino became the first group member to release a solo album, with Tera Iz Him. 9th Prince followed in 2003 with his solo debut Granddaddy Flow. ShoGun Assasson is rumored to be the next member to release a solo album.
Shelter
Killarmy Lyrics

Check it out yo, yo, yo
[Chorus: x2]
Through difficult times it's hard to maintain
Lookin' for the shelter that blocks out the rain
Stress and pain could leave a mark on the brain
But one thing's for sure black God remains
Through difficult times lots of unexpected
My pops disapproves cause I want to make records
But check it, my home life for second, I feel neglected
I bounce the first chance I get, I stop to think a second
I wreck it, damn I'm gonna need a place to sleep
No major cream!
I call up the God Supreme
I analyze, I'm plannin' up a strategy
Fuck a fantasy I'm dealin' with reality
Mentality that's wilder than the average cat
I snatch a cream and sell a nigga's candle wax
I hit the tracks, I hold cycle with my brothers
All is understood, peace lies amongst each other
But meanwhile, I maintain to keep the same
I smoke a bone every now and then to ease the pain
But through the struggle I know that only God remains
[Chorus: x2]
The streets is bugged
Seein' young soldiers pedal drugs by the pound
The scheme is to catch cream at a fast rate
Start movin' the product from state to state
Lay up and watch the profits inflate
Now you're a big time hustler, full time heavyweight contender
But you must remember
That your thoughts must be cold just like December
Stay low key so you won't catch a case
Throws comin' in from the fiends who smoke base
Madman clientele, see your apartment start to swell
The last thing on your mind is a jail cell
You're blind, all you see is money
Lost in the illusion of luxury
It's a shame, you're in the game for the fame and the name
So spin the wheel of misfortune
I heard with the sling that escorts ya
Now your life is in jeopardy
Because you the brothers that's livin' in the army
[Chorus: x2]
Keep calm and don't expose and weak points
We'll all line up and fight together
I say, we must all stay together as a single unit
In Shelter by Killarmy, the lyrics describe the struggles of life and the search for shelter amidst the hardships faced in the world. The song is structured around a chorus that is repeated twice within the song, emphasizing the importance of relying on a higher power during difficult times. The lyrics discuss various struggles that individuals face including familial conflicts and the lure of drug dealing. The verse spoken by the rapper describes feeling neglected by a family member and the desire to pursue a music career. When faced with homelessness due to a lack of resources, the singer calls upon a higher power for assistance. The lyrics in the second verse describe the temptations of drugs and the detrimental effects it can have on one's life. The chorus is repeated again to emphasize that amidst all the struggles, it is important to not lose faith and that there will always be a higher power providing shelter.

this is definitely one of the best song i've EVER HEARD. its mystic, surrealistic beat just pumps like a trippy, psychedelic dream which finds its dramatic peak at the end (2:51-). the rhythm of the chorus is haunting and mesmerizing at the same time. the raps are authentic, calm and just fo real. this is not only hiphop or simply a genre of music, this is devotion. it's not only a plain culture, this is a state of trance one can refer to in order to keep sane. wutang & killarmy BIG RESPECT!!!
