Teenage Enema Nurses in Bondage
Killer Pussy Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Teenage, greenage, awkward in-between age
(Teenage enema nurse)
I turned 15 thought it was a teen scene
(Teenage enema nurse)
Thought it would be easy, but it makes me queasy
(I’m a Teenage enema nurse)
Were all just Teenage enema nurses in bondage

Must have left a chapter out.
In school and nursing classes.
They never taught me all about
Those tubes and lubes and asses.
Teenage enema nurse (x4)

They told me stick the nozzle in
There’s really nothing to it
It’s not a very pretty job
But someone’s got to do it.
Teenage enema nurse (x4)
Were all just Teenage enema nurses in bondage

Teen job, mean job, not a very clean job
(Teenage enema nurse)
Poses it with hoses ain't No bed of roses
(Teenage enema nurse)
There are no implications just evacuations
(Teenage enema nurse)
Were all just Teenage enema nurses in bondage

I’ve had such Emergency it made me so disgusted
__?___Urgency to empty and it busted

Teenage enema nurse
Teenage enema nurse

Oh shit the pay is low
I labor not in vain
I’d quick but I’m so broke I know
I’d never find a way

Teenage enema nurse
Were all just Teenage enema nurses in bondage.

Overall Meaning

The Killer Pussy's song "Teenage Enema Nurses in Bondage" is a satirical song that explores the experiences of being a teenage nurse and specifically those that involve enemas. Enemas are a medical treatment used to empty the bowels or as a form of constipation relief. The song opens up by describing the awkwardness of the teenage years and having to navigate them as a nurse tasked with performing enemas. The singer goes on to state that she assumed that being a teenage nurse would be an easy task, however, the reality is far from easy.

In the next verse, the singer muses on how nursing classes do not cover the intricacies of performing enemas. She explains that someone has to perform this not so pleasant task and that is the nurse's job. The lyrics show how the experience is not pretty, but it must be done. The chorus then repeats that they are all "Teenage enema nurses in bondage," suggesting that the experience is akin to a form of bondage in itself.

The final verse humorously tackles the topic of low pay for nurses, stating that even though the pay is meager, the work must be done because they cannot afford to leave. Overall, the song sheds light on the difficulties of being a nurse, specifically when it comes to performing tasks like enemas, and how these tasks can be just as difficult and uncomfortable for the nurse as they are for the patient.

Thank you for finally giving Minsky and HJK the business end of our ire. I can't tell you how frustrating it is hearing them peddle the same losing strategy week in and week out. Hey Harvey, IT'S NOT EFFING WORKING!! We're about to lose all the rights our forebears spilled their blood and guts over, while the dems pretend like they can't fight their way out of a paper bag. But you know lets keep throwing good money after bad and offer the same tired proposals while expecting different results #beyondmaddening 😤

With the way Amazon's employment works, their whole intention is to turn and burn the workforce. There's only so many people you can turn and burn with a company that size and a limited workforce of people that do that kind of work. They're suffering those effects now. They are starting to see no choice in accepting the unionizing because they've burned though so many people that there isn't a large enough work force left to exploit. You will lose employees and stop gaining new ones. Starbucks' problem is getting so national that even stores in the south are starting to win union votes and it's massively public now.

Starbucks' potention employee pool is infinitely smaller than Amazon's potention LABOR pool. A barista is a specialized position that not everyone can do. They're seeing the effects of their union busting exponentially faster than Amazon did for this reason.

Seeing this being the case, businesses with smaller labor pools or smaller potential labor pools are going to see results much faster. The smaller your labor pool is, the more specialized the job is, the smarter and less willing to put up with your shit the employees are.
