Crossroads
Kim Mitchell Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

If you come back to town
I'll be standin'
At the crossroads
Of Hell and Heaven
Of pain and pleasure

If you come back to town
I'll be standin'
Like a national treasure
And I'll have nothing on
But a glow

I'm level to fall in love with you
Level to fall in love with you
I'm level to fall in love
I'm level to fall in love with you again

If you come back

If you come back to town
I'll be standin'
At the crossroads
Fact and Fiction
Reality and Fantasy

If you come back to town
I'll be standin' (if you come back)
Like a national treasure
And I'll have nothing on
But a glow

I'm level to fall in love with you
Level to fall in love with you
I'm level to fall in love
I'm level to fall in love with you again
And I will be the noisiest in one man traveling show

At the crossroads
At the crossroads
Hell and Heaven
Pain and pleasure
If you come back
I'll be at the crossroads
At the crossroads
Reality and fantasy
If you come back

I'm level to fall in love with you
Level to fall in love with you
I'm level to fall in love
Level to fall in love with you
I'm level to fall in love with you again

It would be a first look
In each other's eyes
Whether we kiss
Or whether we
Or whether cry

At the crossroads
At the crossroads
Hell and Heaven
Pain and pleasure
If you come back
I'll be at the crossroads
At the crossroads
Reality and fantasy
If you come back
I'll be at the crossroads
Hell and Heaven
Pain and pleasure

If you come back
I'll be at the crossroads

This is my all time fave Kim Mitchell song. All of his music is phenomenal though, but this one is the bomb.

oh oui je suis bien d'accord; je suis Français mais j'aime beaucoup le rock mélodique canadien, en particulier Kim mitchell les 3 premiers albums. J'adore The crossroads, This dream, Expedition sailor etc.....

This came out when I was in my mid 20's! Wow, 20 years ago!! He was under rated! But Kim was well loved in Canada! That's the main thing! He sure did help us get through some pretty awkward tomes growing up!!! Thanks Kim!!
