Some compare King B to 2pac, some say he has the raw street-edge and gangster’ style of early Master P, and even a way of delivering street knowledge reminiscent of Pastor Troy. I say it’s all of these characteristics and a few other unique personality traits that make King B a well rounded young up-and-comer. By taking lesions from the success and failure of other recording artists, King B has been able to adapt his sound to be club friendly with that official southern gangster-lean. Like Master P, 2pac, and Biggie, the King B sound is original and expressive. If you have been waiting for the next real life G to tell his story then your in luck King B’s VISIONS album plays like a big budget, Hollywood, shootem’ up type gangster movie. Although one or two liberties may have been taken with names and dates on the album, this is a firsthand account of the harsh reality that is felt by those on the bottom of the U.S. social ladder.
With street sense and country wisdom King B makes rap music fun and interesting again. This is true Hip-Hop Story Telling at its best. Though as usual this album takes us to the dark side of human nature, it surprisingly shows us a glimpse of the better points of living in the hood as well. With a strong love for his community King B is the perfect one to tell the story of Logtown.

Tears running all down my cheeks
Yes, standing at my window
Tears running all down my cheeks
Well, I could see the woman I'm loving
Stopping everyone in the world she meets
Well, standing on the corner
Well, standing on the corner, people
Between 35th and Main
Yeah, that's where a blind man's seen my woman
People, a dumb man called her name
Well, all right
Well, all right
He said, "Oh, I'm blind
You brought eyesight and you made me see"
"Oh yes, I'm blind
You brought eyesight and made me see"
Yes, and the dumb man asked a question
"Woman, who may your good man be?"
Yes, I'm standing by trembling, people
People, my heart's laying in my hand
Oh, I'm standing by trembling, darling
With my heart laying in my hand
Well, I could hear my baby say
"Lord, I ain't got no man"
The lyrics to King B's song "Blind" tell a story of heartbreak and betrayal. The singer is standing at his window, crying as he watches the woman he loves charm and entertain other people. She stops everyone she meets, and the singer can see her doing this from his window. He then reveals that he's in a certain location, between 35th and Main, where a blind man and a dumb man also are. Here's where the story takes an interesting turn - the blind man can somehow "see" the singer's woman, and the dumb man asks her who her "good man" is. Meanwhile, the singer is standing there trembling, with his heart in his hand. The woman then admits that she doesn't have a man.
The lyrics to "Blind" depict several different emotions that the singer feels as he watches his love interest charm other people. He is sad and heartbroken, clearly torn up by the fact that she is paying attention to other men. He also feels a sense of betrayal, as revealed when the blind man is somehow able to "see" the woman and when the dumb man asks her about her "good man". These lyrics demonstrate the complex feelings that can arise when someone's romantic relationship is not going as planned.
Overall, the lyrics to "Blind" encapsulate the experience of heartbreak and betrayal. The singer is clearly deeply affected by the fact that the woman he loves is paying attention to other people. However, there is also some nuance to the lyrics, as the blind man's ability to "see" the woman and the dumb man's question about her "good man" demonstrate. These lyrics show just how complicated and emotional romantic relationships can be.
