The Mincer
by King Crimson

Fingers reaching,
Fingers reeking.

Jump for the scream,
Good night, honey.

You're all alone,
Baby, breathing.

They come better looking,
But they don't come mannered.

Whereas, Moody Blues, Genesis, Yes and others painted the mellotron in pastoral, twee or wifty deployment -->
Robert Fripp found the creative, psychedelic and (dare I say) creepy personality sleeping within this instrument.

This lineup of King Crimson has always been my favorite, I saw them twice, I wished they would have lasted a bit longer. I was really bummer when Red came out it said they had broke up. I thought David Cross did amazing things with the violin, John Wetton, fantastic bass player singer. These guys were awesome!

Gerard Durocher This too was my favorite KC incarnation, short lived as it was. I don’t think David Cross ever got the credit he deserved not to mention the brief but inspired lunacy that was Jamie Muir.

So basically Mincer was a Fractured piece. That makes sense.

Ricardo Roy

Mincer sounds like Starless And Bible Black intro

@Soham Sinha Ray Oyster Soup? I'd sooner eat a Whole can of Cat food than go anywhere near that thing!

Or six million ants, whichever way you like it. You just need the power to believe
