The lyrics of King Kooba's song "Static Society" are somewhat difficult to interpret, as they are mostly a repetition of a few phrases. However, it seems to be a reflection on the way society can become stagnant ("static"), with routines and norms becoming entrenched over time. The repeated phrase "we got the vibe" could be interpreted as a demand for change or a desire to break free from these entrenched patterns.
The inclusion of snippets of conversational dialogue in the lyrics further reinforces this theme of societal stagnation. The lines "Can I borrow some money?" and "Whatever feels good" suggest that people may be constrained by financial worries and social norms, respectively. The sound of a baby crying also adds to this sense of a society that is struggling to progress and develop.
