Bleach
Kingdom of Giants Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Let it snow, you're all I can see at the end of the road
You have lost
You can't get it, get it, get it
You are all I see at the end of the road
I can show you it all
Bleach the memory, take back everything!
We're so low
I can't begin to be myself again!
Even though, you got in my head again
Bleach the colors erase the letters
I can show you so much better
I can show you it all
We're so pure
Bleach the memory, take back everything!
We're so low
I can't begin to be myself again!
I need a place where I can come and rest
A place where I can lay my head
We're so low
I can't begin to be myself again!
Fill my lungs drown in bleach
Fill my lungs, drown, in, bleach!
So get it through your head
I'm not over this
You may want peace but I'm here for revenge!
Bleach the colors, erase the letters
You are all I see at the end of the road
I can show you it all!
We're so pure
Bleach the memory, take back everything!
We're so low
I can't begin to be myself again!
I need a place where I can come and rest
A place where I can lay my head
We're so low
Fill my lungs drown in bleach
Fill my lungs, drown, in, bleach
Drown in!
The lyrics of Kingdom of Giants's song "Bleach" talk about the concept of erasing memories and starting anew. The first stanza implies that the listener has lost their ability to visualize vivid colors from their memories while simultaneously concentrating on one person or entity. The following lines of the song have a slightly different interpretation of the same idea, where the singer is encouraging the listener to erase all their memories and look for new ones, as represented by the lyrics, "Bleach the memory, take back everything."
The chorus has a theme of purity and introspection, where the singer seems to be looking for a way to distance themselves from their memories and feelings. They yearn for a place to rest their head and find solace, as demonstrated by the lyrics, "I need a place where I can come and rest, A place where I can lay my head." The song ends with the singer stating that they're not yet over the past and want revenge.
Overall, the song seems to be discussing the idea of starting anew and forgetting the past is difficult but possible. It portrays a resignation to the need to give up the past, expressed through the repeated phrase, "Fill my lungs, drown, in, bleach."

Invogue isnt a bad label at all
christophermarang.
RyanTheGamer they were never a good fit. Just like Gideon being on Equal Vision sometimes the name isn’t as important and the need a particular band needs. I always thought Kingdom of Giants would be much better suited on a metal label, like Nuclear Blast of Metal Blade.
