To my uncle Lawrence, a great role model to many. A father, a son and a great friend.
He dedicated this song to his daughter he lost x years ago in a car accident, she was so young, about my age.
I remember when he'd drive me to work, he'd blast this song, passing by the area of the accident, it'd always feel gloomy passing by it.
I knew she'd cross his mind everytime. He always seemed so strong.
Years pass, pandemic hits and he loses his mother. It broke his heart and not too long after...
We lost him too.
I listen to this and it's almost like I can hear him.
When I'm feeling down, he was always there to give me solid advice and tell it straight up.
He'd always call me a champ, I could really use that right about now in life.

Seven years ago I lost my daughter in an automobile accident... it has taken me along time to where I'm at mentally; although I have so much more healing and understanding to overcome, music 🎶🎵, especially this song, helps me to find a sense of peace and knowing that she is forever with me.
