He spent eight years in Nashville before signing a record deal with MCA Nashville. His debut single, "Mary Was the Marrying Kind", peaked at #45 on the country singles charts published by Billboard.
On September 27, 2011, he released his second single, "Somethin' 'Bout a Truck". The song was followed by the release of his debut album Up All Night in April 2012. Moore co-wrote every song on the album, and Brett James produced it. A month later, "Somethin' 'Bout a Truck" hit #1 on the Billboard country charts. "Beer Money" was the album's second single, followed by "Hey Pretty Girl". These songs also reached the country Top 5. Up All Night was the most commercially successful album for a debut country male artist in both 2012 and 2013.
Moore co-wrote two tracks on Thompson Square's self-titled debut album which was released in February 2011: "All the Way" and "Let's Fight", the latter of which was their debut single. He also co-wrote James Wesley's 2012 single "Walking Contradiction". He also co-wrote Frankie Ballard's 2016 single "Cigarette".
In October 2013, Moore announced his fifth single, "Young Love". It charted at #22 on the Country Airplay in March 2014. After it underperformed, it was followed by "Dirt Road", which failed to make Top 40. Moore then decided to "scrap" his second album and compose new material. Moore then released "I'm to Blame", the lead single to his 2015 album, Wild Ones.
On February 10, 2017, Moore released "More Girls Like You" as the lead single from a then-unannounced forthcoming album.
On June 21, 2017, Moore announced the album's title, Slowheart, and its release date of September 8, 2017.
On November 16, 2018, Moore released his second EP titled Room to Spare: The Acoustic Sessions. Three singles were released in preparation for the EP: "Tennessee Boy," an acoustic version of "Plead the Fifth," and "It Ain't California." The EP consists of seven acoustic tracks.
In May 2019, Moore announced on social media "That's a wrap, record #4 is done". No release date had been officially announced, but on June 15 Moore announced he was checking mixes for his upcoming record, indicating the record may be released sometime in 2019.
On August 9, 2019, Moore released a much-anticipated lead single to his yet to be named upcoming album. "She's Mine" is a song Moore wrote over a decade ago, and finally released it in 2019.
On March 27, 2020, Moore released the title track for his fourth studio album titled Wild World. Later that same day, Moore did an interview with Billboard about his new album. The album, which consists of 13 tracks (twelve of which are co-written by Moore), was released on May 29, 2020. Another preview song, "Southpaw", followed on April 17, 2020.
Crazy One More Time

I'm looking through your window pane
I heard the word, you're back in town
I've got some cheap cigarettes, your favorite beer
Girl wear the dress I always dream about, oh
We'll chase the moon, ride the stars
Find the muscle in this car
Yeah come on out, take my hand
Feel my heart, girl understand
I gotta thunder pounding in my chest
Hey yeah, can't see you as nothing but mine
And girl tonight, let's go crazy one more time
We'll park the car, climb on the hood
Turn it up, when something good starts
Playing through these rusted doors
And in this sticky and sweet hair tonight
I'll kiss you girl 'til I get it right
'Cause I know that it'll lead to more
We devour rolling around
Where I'll gently lay you down
And I'll try to tell you how I feel
But you place your finger on my mouth
Whisper "Baby, no not now
The night is young and we still got time to steal"
Hey yeah, can't see you as nothing but mine
And girl tonight, let's go crazy one more time
With the engine burning through my jeans
I watch you fall fast asleep
And this small town sky fade from black to blue
And I'll wipe the tear from my eye
But you'll never know 'cause, baby, I'll smile
As I wave goodbye to you
Hey yeah, can't see you as nothing but mine
And girl tonight, let's go crazy one more time
I guess I'll always have this longing in my heart
And you'll have a place in me
But tonight there's a fire to start
In our red burning hearts
So you're all that I'll ever need
Yeah
The song "Crazy One More Time" by Kip Moore is a romantic ballad about a man who is deeply in love with a woman named Mary Jane, and is excited to learn that she is back in town. He invites her to come out and see him and do some wild things together. The man promises to treat her like a queen, and the lyrics describe how they will go out for a ride, listen to music, and make out passionately. Throughout the song, the man repeatedly emphasizes his deep love and longing for Mary Jane. Even though their time together may be fleeting, he wants to make it count, and he wants to make sure that Mary Jane knows how much he loves her.
The themes in this song are fairly simple, but the lyrics are all about passion, love, and romance. The song is intended to be a love letter from the singer to the woman he loves, and the lyrics are heartfelt and genuine. The imagery of going on a joyride, listening to good music, and making out are all things that many people can relate to, and the sense of longing and yearning in the lyrics is something that many people experience when they are in love.

He is definitely a rare artist who simply loves performing music. Saw him twice in concert, and he puts his heart and soul into every song. I'm going to try to see him again here in PA in September when he comes through - two shows in my area.
