Well if you dont enjoy anime without thinking too much than you as an anime fan reached a high wall each of us has to beat, this is more or less a crossroads for you, and from many of my friends and me myself who reached it i can tell you there are only 2 ways, you either drop anime at some point or go up the wall and return back to the start where you once again will stop thinking and overanalyzing, staying under the wall without progressing will sooner or later lead to you getting so bored of anime that you will drop it anyway.
I myself beat this wall 15 years ago and since then i dont give a damn about reviews, others opinions or average scores, if i like it than i dont care if other thinks its a bad anime, though i cant tell if the wall will appear once again at some point in time after you beat it, it did not reappear for me but some of my friends had it appear before them once again and some of them lost the fight or gave it up themselves choosing a different life style.

Shinichi asakura. Well said. That's exactly how I feel about anime. IF YOU enjoy it. That's all that matters otherwise. You do end up bored of. I stopped watching anime for almost 2 years so that helped, but I still always go with a "while every one's opinion is valid to them it ain't to me" so I enjoy damn near every anime I watch unless of course I really don't like it lol.

@Shinichi Asakura For real, I've been watching anime since I was really young, but only just recently broke the never-ending cycle. My all-time favorites I found by just diving in blind with no reviews or anything like that, so now I'm back to where I started, just like the good ole days. It's better this way, I feel like I'm wiser than when I first embarked but with the same trash tastes as when I first dipped my toes into the medium, but I'm alright with that.

si, el hermano tiene otros mangas, peroo.. no le va muy bien, como dibujante es un maestro, pero, como guionista es un inepto, y quizas sea un poco cosa mia, pero las historias que saco, son aburridas, abusan ridiculamente del fanservi, y los personajes son jodidamente planos, y las historias son jodidamente simples y predesibles
ademas, aun cuando el es hermano, recuerda que ellos se pelearon antes que el muriera, y los derechos, por un tecnisismo, no los puede tomar el, y no quiere dar los que el posee, para que otro lo termine, asi que no, no puede seguir él el manga, ni peude seguirse por la editorial
supongo que la unica solucion, y es medio macabro lo que dire, es que el muera y los derechos por defecto pasen a la editoria, solo asi se podria seguir la historia, pero no es algo que yo desee, que el muera, aclaro
el unico manga que recuerdo que el saco, es uno llamado triangle o algo asi, recuerdo que lo lei y lo dropee a los 4 capitulos, por aburrido, y porque basicamente cada pagina era basicamente la chica inclinada mostrando el culo

Dios, puedo decir con seguridad que es el mejor puto opening que escuche. Estoy puto llorando, hace un montón que no lo escuchaba. Te lleva a los 2010s completamente. Te lleva a esos momentos que veías anime sin preocupaciones, esos momentos que disfrutabas de los animes ecchi sin remordimientos y no te daban cringe jajaj. Te lleva a ese anime de zombies que te ponía los pelos de punta con ver un Japón azotado y en la completa anarquía, ese rio de sangre que esta en el opening nunca lo olvidare, el repentino cambio de estar en un mundo normal a que dé repente todos tus compañeros de clase y profesores están muertos y te quieran asesinar, nunca lo olvidare.

Quizá me quemen por lo que voy a decir. Pero como me gustaría ver un live action a modo de spin off de High School of the Dead, osea, no con los mismos protagonistas, sino con otros pero que estén en el mismo mundo, y quizá uno que otro cameo de los protas originales. Ya tenemos actualmente toda la tecnología y presupuestos para series de Streaming para que visualmente se vea bien. La única pieza que faltaría sería un buen guión, y un buen cast de actores. Y un extra, la música, ya que estamos comentando en el videoclip del opening 😎👌✨

i really h8 how ppl treat hotd just as a fanservice-ecchi series and ignore everything else.....i was blown away when i 1st watched it and it stayed on my top list ever since,whenever the thought "maybe it wasnt that good as i remember it..." passes my mind i just rewatch it and love it even more!no matter how "simple" the story is ,if you care to search,you find themes that make you think about them long after the ending of the last ep.
from the "flawed" chars and their "strange" choices to the worldbuilding and the "backdrop" of the series its great in any way,even the "too much" ecchi stuff have their reason when you think about it(maybe not every little thing ).i adore this series and its really sad that we wont see its ending.
