1. Kiss Kiss was an indie rock band that emerged from Milton's SUNY Purchase. The group was formed by Joshua Benash (guitar, synth, and vocals) and Jared Karns (drums) after the members had participated in various college bands. The name Kiss Kiss is derived from a series of short stories by Roald Dahl. Although their music is primarily rock in style, it also includes an electric violin that adds an orchestral sound to many songs. The contrasts within Kiss Kiss' songwriting and vocals have also been described as extremely frantic at times, yet melodic and soothing at others. This unusual variety of styles has helped the band's music to appeal to a wide audience.
The band's first release was a self-titled EP--initially released independently in 2004, it would be re-released on Eyeball Records with new artwork on October 11th, 2005. Their debut album, Reality vs. the Optimist, was officially released on February 6, 2007.
The band's second album, The Meek Shall Inherit What's Left, was released on July 7th, 2009.
2. On March 25, 2023, at the conclusion of WACK Audition Camp 2023 the formation of Kiss Kiss was announced. The group consists of six members of Gang Parade. Their first digital single, "Kisses", was released on April 17. On June 21, they released their debut album, First Album.
Machines
Kiss Kiss Lyrics

Choke on the Waters of my Enemy
Its Time.
Time, To Show the Machines
How We all Breathe
Let Them Inside
To Manage our Dreams Show the Machines
If you Find Strength in The Death
Of Innocents Bottle the Soul you Have Left
Its Your Time
Time, To Show the Machines
How We all Breathe
Let Them Inside
To Manage our Dreams
Show the Machines
A Chip on the Flesh
Well its My Circuitry
Let them Inside
To Manage our Dreams X2
Then I saw the Cuts on Your Arms
I Guess your Bored and you need to Bleed
Hari Kari Sideshows can Be So
Very Fucking Stupid
And I Saw the Streets Where We Played
Where Depression is Industry
And I Take my Hat off To
Anyone Whos ever Given More of a fuck Than Me X2
The lyrics of Kiss Kiss's song "Machines" seem to be about challenging the power of machines and technology in our lives. The first two stanzas present two different scenarios to show how we can resist the power of machines. In the first scenario, the singer tells anyone who finds strength in the sea to choke on its waters and face their enemy, suggesting that they harness the power of nature or personal strength to face the challenges of their lives. In the second scenario, he advises people to "bottle the soul [they] have left" if they find strength in death and making innocent people suffer, implying that we should stay moral and ethical and not let technology or our own dark side overwhelm us.
The following stanza is repeated twice and seems to be the main message of the song. The singer invites people to "show the machines how we all breathe," suggesting that we need to take control of technology and make it work for us, rather than the other way around. He implies that we need to embrace and manage our dreams and desires, rather than suppressing them or letting machines do it for us. The final stanza seems to address mental health issues and the impact of society and technology on our well-being. The singer acknowledges the prevalence of depression in our culture and gives credit to those who care more than he does about making the world a better place.
