1. Kiss Kiss was an indie rock band that emerged from Milton's SUNY Purchase. The group was formed by Joshua Benash (guitar, synth, and vocals) and Jared Karns (drums) after the members had participated in various college bands. The name Kiss Kiss is derived from a series of short stories by Roald Dahl. Although their music is primarily rock in style, it also includes an electric violin that adds an orchestral sound to many songs. The contrasts within Kiss Kiss' songwriting and vocals have also been described as extremely frantic at times, yet melodic and soothing at others. This unusual variety of styles has helped the band's music to appeal to a wide audience.
The band's first release was a self-titled EP--initially released independently in 2004, it would be re-released on Eyeball Records with new artwork on October 11th, 2005. Their debut album, Reality vs. the Optimist, was officially released on February 6, 2007.
The band's second album, The Meek Shall Inherit What's Left, was released on July 7th, 2009.
2. On March 25, 2023, at the conclusion of WACK Audition Camp 2023 the formation of Kiss Kiss was announced. The group consists of six members of Gang Parade. Their first digital single, "Kisses", was released on April 17. On June 21, they released their debut album, First Album.

I Roll My Eyes into a Light Thats on
A Feeling I Adore
Clap Your Hands and Stomp Your Feet
Roll Around Like in a Baptist Dream
A Feeling I Ignore
Get Off
That You and I are the Same Thing Every Time
A Blank Stare
A Glance Between Eyes
And You and I are the Same Thing Every Time
And Ill Fade away Cause I wont Take Those Lies
I Twitch My Mouth and Grind My Teeth
Roll My Eyes into a Light Thats on
A Feeling I Adore
But I Forgot it
I Forgot it
I Forgot it
The Feeling I Ignore
Get Off
This Doesnt Seem Right
That You and I are the Same Thing Every Time
A Blank Stare
A Glance Between Eyes
And You and I are the Same Thing Every Time
And Ill Fade away Cause I wont Take Those Lies
Im on the Paths all Walked Before
Im Growing Tired of This and Bored
Now I Forget All Those Who Need
Trapped in My own, Closed Off in Grief
But If I Get By in My Life Id Like To
Share My Life With You
To Grow Beside you in Love True
And I Forget All Those Who Bleed
Trapped Inside All I Have Ever Sought
And I Wait For You To See
And I Forget When on My Knees
Tired and Worn Just Like a Vagabond
Youre There to Help me Grieve
In "Vagabond," Kiss Kiss uses poetic language to describe the internal struggle of feeling trapped and lost in one's own thoughts and emotions. The repetitive nature of the lyrics, particularly the lines "I Twitch My Mouth and Grind My Teeth" and "A Feeling I Ignore," emphasize the frustration and hopelessness of the situation. The singer longs for connection and escape from their own mental turmoil, but also feels resistant and defensive towards the idea of opening up to someone else.
The song takes a turn in the second verse, where the singer shifts from internal reflection to a declaration of their desire for companionship and mutual growth. The line "But If I Get By in My Life Id Like To/Share My Life With You/To Grow Beside you in Love True" speaks to the longing for human connection that is present throughout the song. The closing lines of the song, "And I Wait For You To See/And I Forget When on My Knees/Tired and Worn Just Like a Vagabond/Youre There to Help me Grieve," indicate a hopeful ending, where the singer has found someone to lean on and support them through their struggles.
