Kithkin were born in the dark recesses of the Cascadian Empire. The children of woodland nobility, Kithkin were bred on a strict diet of percussion and rhythm, forced to eat nothing but spiders and leaves in between twice-daily 10 hour long drum circle sessions. On a caravan into the untraveled Swamps of Sadness, the quartet performed a drum circle so unholy, it ripped open a portal into our world, which they now inhabit. Their nobility now rendered meaningless in this new realm, Kithkin were forced to earn a living as entertainers. They are fond of primates, but dislike grapefruit.

I was at this show, I will never forget just the raw energy they brought to the stage. Even though Kithkin is no more, I will never forget this performance.

Seattle produces yet another indie band, surprise surprise. 'Power Yelling' along with the recycled concept doesn't make it any better, Metal's been monopolizing that aspect of music more effectively for decades, no need to horn in on the market.

Check out The Dillinger Escape Plan's live show if you think this is "energetic."

@theedwardcunningham Well, I'd reaffirm my agreement with yours, but you limited your comment to include only Seattle's indie scene; I despise indie music regardless of its geographic origin. Still sounds like every indie act my friends have ever played for me, nothing but the unison yelling sets them apart from anything.
