3) A power pop/rock 'n' roll band from England formed in the early 80s famous for being one the earliest bands of both Tyla (The Dogs D'amour) and Paul Raven (Killing Joke, Prong, Ministry) and were led by Rook Randle (Lunaseed). Their demo song 'Teenager of the Week' was later covered and released as the first Dogs D'amour track (retitled 'Teenage') on the 1983 glam-punk compilation, Trash on Delivery. The original line-up split up in 1982 but Rook put together a new Kitsch and the group finally recorded an album entitled Kleptomania on Plezure Records. However the album was shelved and the only tracks to get released were on a record company sampler album called Plezure Starts Here, namely 'Undercover Lover' and 'Never Again'. Eventually Kitsch broke up because of difficulties with the management and production company.

Orphan
Kitsch Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I just had to fucking go
I know very well
I'm being missed by you.
I don't expect you to forgive me.
But we both know that I'm gone
Don't let anyone bring you down
Theres no point in saying this
I don't want forgiveness
Cause we both know that I'm gone.
Don't forget about the times we shared
And all our joys, just say goodbye.
The lyrics in Kitsch's song Orphan talk about a person who had to leave someone they loved behind. The person is aware of the pain they caused and understands if they are not forgiven. They want their loved one to move forward and not be weighed down by their absence. The song encourages the person left behind to cherish the memories they had together but to accept that it is time to move on from their relationship.
It is clear that the person who left did not do so willingly, as acknowledged in the lyrics "I didn't mean to leave you alone." However, they had to "fucking go" for reasons unknown. The singer accepts that they cannot make up for their actions and instead, asks their partner to carry on without them.
Overall, the lyrics of Kitsch's song Orphan capture the sadness and sense of loss that comes from the end of a relationship. It encourages acceptance and moving forward while acknowledging the importance of cherishing past memories.
