Kitty Hudson are a Punk Rock band from Croydon, London, they were made from members of the bands Daisy Chainsaw, Glitterbug, Plan 9 and Basement 69! They have shared the stage with bands such as Tiger Army, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, The Erotics, The Pleasures, Drugdealer Cheerleader, Spit Like This and many more! Since forming in April 2002 they have appeared on Optimum Impact Magazine's Oi Compilation Album with the track 'What it's like' and 'Another Hour With Bubblegum Slut' Compilation Album with the track 'M.I.A'. In 2006 they appeared on the Pure Rawk compilation, 'Unleashed and Loaded II' with 'M.I.A'. They have also played Download Festival 2006 after winning an online Myspace competition to get there, 27-date tour of China, 10-date tour of USA (which led to the band being deported and banned for life).

In 2008 they were crowned "Best Band" and Richie Hudson won the "Frontperson of the Year" in the coverted Pure Rawk Awards. The awards were voted for by fans online via the online underground rock zine, Pure Rawk (www.purerawk.co.uk).
