Midnite Dynamite
Kix Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I'm a time bomb
It's time that I explode
Waited so long
For moonlight overload
You are the only target
I always hit my mark
Let's get the fire started
Our sparks will light the dark

Midnite dynamite
I'm midnite dynamite
Our sparks they will ignite
I'm midnite dynamite

I'm a land mine
It's time you fall on me
I'm a dead eye
Damnation guarantee
We are the late explosion
200 decibels to thrill
The danger - emotion
I hear the clock strike twelve

Midnite dynamite
I'm midnite dynamite
Our sparks they will ignite
I'm midnite dynamite

Sometimes daytime lasts too long
Midnite heart beats loud and strong
Come on

You are the only target
And I always hit my mark
Let's get the fire started
Our sparks will light the dark

Midnite dynamite
I'm midnite dynamite
Our sparks they will ignite
I'm midnite dynamite

Midnite dynamite
I'm midnite dynamite

Our sparks they will ignite
I'm midnite dynamite

I've seen KIX at least 30-35 times over the years. Still to this day, one of the best live bands you'll ever see.

Hay Stack

wow lucky id like to see them atleast once fuuuck

Can't argue they were a GREAT club band...saw them in NY in late 80s. Up close and personal. Best ever band named after a cereal 😂

Citizen 337

I haven't been that lucky, but back in the 1985-87 period, I can vouch for the fact that everybody in the rock scene would buy their tickets well advance because they were tight as a brick sh*thouse and the show was so much fun. If you didn't get your tickets 2 months in advance, you were probably SOL. It was amazing. I did get to meet them at an after-party my girlfriend threw, which she could do because she was a local promoter. And I've talked to Brian over email. But yes, easily the best live band I've ever seen - probably of all time. And that includes a ton of bands. And they are that good now. All skill, low gain and raw technique.

Incredible band. Completely underrated.

GMT /////

By whom exactly? Some of their YT vids have over 10mil views. How much more recognition do they need??? 🤣

J.T. Cooper

@GMT ///// I said nothing about their "recognition". I said they were underrated and I was referring to the past, not now. And recognition has nothing to do with being underrated. 🤣

SKWAUNCHTASTIK11

Somewhat. Not as big as guns n' roses or def leppard or some others
