The lyrics to Kjartan Lauritzen's song "Havanna" paint a picture of the artist enjoying his time in the Cuban city of Havana. The first two lines express that the sun is shining on beautiful women, while Kjartan himself is making beautiful memories. He feels like he has arrived in paradise and is playing in paradise with an older man who smokes cannabis. While the man may be old and overweight, he is still cool, wild and has a lot of money. The two are rolling on a boat tonight, smoking marijuana and experiencing what Kjartan refers to as nirvana. The chorus has Kjartan exclaiming "Oh my God, amigo amigo, this is acid, amino amino. I am white as an albino, albino, but my life is still like a movie, a movie." He goes on to describe the waves, palm trees, and warmth, flailing his arms around, and feeling the high in his gut. He wonders to himself if this is truly what nirvana is like, but concludes that no, it is just summer in Havana.
