The lyrics to Klamydia's song Metanol man detail the story of Jokke, who is feeling down and angry as a result of a recent drinking session with his cousin, during which they consumed too much methanol. This chemical compound, which is a byproduct of the refining process used for racing fuel, has caused Jokke's car to just barely start up again. Despite feeling frustrated, Jokke knows that an important race is coming up and he can't afford to not have any fuel. He is joined by other racing enthusiasts at the garage, and they all feel sickened by the smell of the methanol mixture.
Jokke, who used to be a meteorologist, comes up with a brilliant idea to harness the power of the wind in order to win the race and impress a woman named Irma. He attaches a sail to the back of his car, and during the race, Irma comes along with a whirlwind and whisks Jokke away to victory. The song thus ends on a happy note, with Jokke and Irma flying through the wind and onto the world stage of Finnish racing.
