Same; I've actually re-watched first three series recently and I still love it. I've always loved the visionary yet in reality grounded approach of the show - especially Michael's smartwatch and videocalling from KITT. I love the exaggerated breathiness and hesitancy of his delivery here. Vincent Price did this kind of thing too. It sounds a bit artificial and hokey now, but it was part of an earlier generation of oratory and delivery that’s still fascinating to listen to. Same goes for the stentorian announcer voices they used to have on shows like Superfriends.

This was the best show ever in the entire 80s era because the show was ahead of it's time . Every man women and child were glued to their screens when knight rider came on. It's still the best show up till this very day ,, i can watch the reruns forever ... but one thing i don't like it's the 2008 rebooth , the 2008 rebooth messed up knight rider the original 1982 series was and still is the best ever

I have actually met KITT before at the Hollywood show in Hollywood, California. It was set up to talk and everything. The car was very cool and did not act like a spoiled big star like so many human actors in Hollywood.

The decade of a steady stream of firsts & everyday living upgrades of all kinds. I disagree. Without David Hasselhoff's charm and charisma this show would never have been as great as it was. Michael Knight and KITT formed a perfect partnership and it was their communication and respect for each other that made the show.

Used to watch this at my grandmothers house back in the 80’s on a illegal antenna that my dad had installed during the Soviet era who blocked all access to all American and European TV shows. Such a sweet childhood memory... by the way the show was in Turkish because they were the closest country where the show was broadcasting ...my grandmother had to translate...and the only reason she spoke turkish was that she and her family were deported from Western Armenia back in 1915 during the Genocide...which is now occupied by turkey.

If you want to look at a genocide (an actual attempt to remove an entire ethnicity) study the persecution of the Amerindian or the German Jews in the 30's and 40's
