1. Knights are a rock band hailing from Austin, Texas. Their music can be described as a fusion of progressive rock, classical, electronic/dance elements combined with crisp, dynamic vocals and powerful lyrics, resulting in a distinctive and epic sound. Knights aspire to electrify fans aurally, visually, and mentally by putting on exciting, energetic performances, and recreating that experience in their studio recordings.
The band was established from the mind of Austin native, Nick Longoria (songwriter, lead vocals, lead guitars, piano). Knights released their first EP in 2009 title, Age of Revolution. In the summer of 2011, Knights ventured on their first tour, playing shows across Texas, Mississippi, and the northeast (NY, NJ, VT, NH). Once returning from tour, they set to record and write their first full length album.
In October 2013, Knights released their first full length album, Dark Matter. The 12 song, self-produced, album was recorded in Austin, TX at The Bubble with Alex Lyon.
Knights is composed of Nick Longoria (vocals/guitar/piano), Joseph Longoria (vocals/bass), and Casey Etienne (drums).

Full playe armor didn't make you less mobile, you can see people in actual full plate armor doing handstands, running, and jumping. This armor weighs about the same as today's soldiers equipment.

Common misconception but full plate armor is actually very maneuverable. There are some videos you can watch with people sprinting and even doing cartwheels in full plate.

Ok, no, plate armor wasn't heavy. It weighed about the same as football armor and didn't restrict movement, with videos of people vaulting and climbing obstacles clad head to toe in plate armor. I need to point that out as it's a common misconception the plate armor was heavy.

AmazinglyIdiotic yes, a full suit was pretty heavy but it's cleverly designed to distribute weight all throughout the body especially the hips, which made it a lot easier to move in along with several joints and bits of articulation it also allows the user to be flexible

Misconception may be reinforced by the fact that knights often used much heavier armor in tournaments where you were far less likely to get stabbed through visor if/when you fell to the ground and were expected to take hits.

The armor was heavy, it was although very cleverly distributed so it didn’t feel as heavy as it actually was.

Interestingly enough, someone decided to hold a race through an obstacle course between a firefighter, a modern soldier, and a knight in full plate armor. All three were wearing their full gear including helmets. Surprisingly enough, the knight made it through with the fastest time, followed by the firefighter (who had the heaviest equipment load) with the soldier taking third place. It was speculated that though the knight was wearing plate armor, it was tailor made for him and didn't hinder his movement very much

I remember reading about knights and seeing the images when I was 7-8 years old lol. At that time I didnt realize it but it was only the beginning for my of history. I only realized know that some of my actions directly led me to appreciate history as it is right now. This video brought back memories from that period. Thank you simple history for doing this.

The armored mounted warrior is a military unit a man at arms. A knight was a status or class title like baron or any others I can't think of off the top of my head. Because armor and other necessities were expensive most men at arms were knights but not all knights were men at arms.

Kartoffelschloss Knights were simply people given titles by a king. Some were landed knights who had a keep and some peasants who worked for him. Others were promoted to barony, earldom or full lordship. Each level had knights below it who served as household soldiers and officers. Royalty were given noble titles in order to gain knights.

So basically once someone becomes a knight they could be any level of nobility

Plate was heavy and limited movement, but not to the extreme degree many might think. Knights were fully capable of mounting their horses, doing frontflips, getting up on their own, etc.

Catapults were not able to destroy castle walls... Only onager were kind of able to do so... 2 meters thick stone walls were not an easy task to destroy nor it was easy to even march across a breach in the wall due to debris
