Not long ago, I was in one of the most difficult situation I have ever been in and I literally felt as though the world has all collapsed right before my eyes. Luckily your song came round on my iPod again and since then, I have been listening to this song repetitively day in, day out and at points where I emotionally and physically could not hold myself together. I chose to sacrifice Chloe when I first played this at the age of 12 or 13 I think? Almost 20 now, and I just found this vid/song just now. And this literally describes how I felt for Chloe and is now more convinced to sacrifice Arcadia Bay for her. I know. Its a selfish decision. But its just that, she deserves better than to be killed by a God damn manipulated rich kid, Nathan Prescott. Fuck destiny. She deserves to live and find happiness. She lost her dad, left by her best friend, wars with her step dad and sometimes even her own mother, Joyce, lost her new bestfriend or lover, and then in the end, meets the same fate in as early as her age not even reaching 20 and more. Its so fucked up. Shes too young and deserves to live the life she wants

I've recently started developing a fan-game based on one of LiS' endings. Someone who's collabing on the game with me recommended your work (since I want to avoid using any assets from the actual game), and I love how this song's lyrics are abstract enough for general purposes BUT also are clearly evocative of Max and Chloe, and follow chord progressions from music in the game.

I will try and strip this one down and shoot you a message with the more quiet bare bones instrumental version if you like.

That sounds about right. I also definitely picked up 'Obstacles' elements, too, if memory serves. (I believe you've used elements from that song in two track now?)

An instrumental version could be very useful. I would also be totally down with helping write lyrics to a track for All Wounds if that is something you'd be interested in collaborating on (but no pressure, your tracks are already going to be a fantastic addition!) I was pleasantly surprised that you were already reading the fic. It seems like the story has made bigger waves in the PriceField fandom than I thought. ^_^;; I hope the game version can live up to people's hopes. It will be a long process but I think it's a very tangible goal given what I accomplished with 'What I Learned at SRU.'
