Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Kofi Kingston's song "S.O.S" depict the story of a badman who wakes up in a dangerous place where he is not safe and tries to run but can't get away. The people around him are shouting, crying and calling for help. Kofi Kingston appears to be the relief needed for their sorrow and pain but the badman has already lost his life and his destiny is in Kofi's hands. The song metaphorically describes circumstances where people find themselves in bad situations and as hard as they may try to run away, they are unable to. According to Kofi Kingston, they should have never tried to get in his face.

The song's repetitive hook "S.O.S. I hear them callin'" accentuates the desperate plea for help as people call out for assistance. The song makes use of an Afro-Caribbean inspired beat that is consistent throughout the song, creating an enjoyable listening experience. The lyrics are easy to follow along and the song is an effective way of communicating Kingston's deep understanding of human struggles and universal themes.

@Aiysha George Thunder I didn’t know almost turning 20 was considered being a kid. I honestly just miss the early 2000’s WWE, I was a kid back then but I’d always be hyped to see people like Kofi Kingston, the Hardy brothers and even Cryme Time. The WWE now is nothing compared to back then

@isuperswagg6300

@Aiysha George Thunder The current superstars don’t impress me like the ones back then did, they’re honestly just boring now
