KoiKoi Lyrics

Danas nema mene.
Čisto je i jasno.
Koliko je jasno sad, sutra neće biti. 4x
Ništa ne govorim.
Sve ja znam.
Sve što imam Sutra nisam ja.
Danas mi je muka.
Upoznao sam sebe.
Već sutra sebe volim
Sutra biću kralj.
Sutra Sutra biću
Sutra, sve što znam.
Sutra Sutra biću
Sutra biću kralj.
The lyrics to KoiKoi's song "Sutra" speak to the universal experience of self-discovery and self-love. The first verse sets the tone for the song, with the singer expressing a feeling of being overwhelmed by the world around them. They feel disconnected from themselves and from others, and the repetition of "danas mi je muka" emphasizes their sense of distress. However, the singer also recognizes that there is clarity in this moment of pain and confusion, and that clarity will not necessarily last. This realization sets up the tension between the present and the future that runs throughout the rest of the song.
The second verse begins with the admission that the singer is not speaking, but rather knowing. They are experiencing a heightened sense of awareness, and although they may not feel seen by the people around them, they are able to feel everything deeply. This heightened sense of feeling is juxtaposed with the feeling that the things that the singer has now will not be theirs in the future. This could be interpreted in several different ways - perhaps the singer is describing the impermanence of life and material possessions, or perhaps they are describing a relationship that they know will not last. Either way, they recognize that they must live in the present, even as they look towards the future.
The final verse brings the song to a hopeful conclusion. The singer declares that they have met themselves, and that tomorrow they will love themselves. This is a powerful statement, particularly given the sense of disconnect and distress that runs throughout the rest of the song. The repetition of "sutra sutra biću kralj" emphasizes the idea that the singer is looking towards a future in which they will be happy and fulfilled, and the song ends on this note of optimism.
