Though the aforementioned hit single earned much success, particularly in the U.K. where it spent many weeks on the charts and peaked at #5, it also left the group saddled with the 'one hit wonder' label outside of Canada & Brasil. Yet, from the same album, he returned to the Canadian charts with another original/cover combination, "Puss N' Boots/These Boots (Are Made For Walkin')". The track included resung interpolation snippets of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" and Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'". Another single, "Harry Houdini", failed to chart completely in America, but scored a Top 40 placing in Canada and also peaked at #14 in the New Zealand Singles Chart.
Wynne, who sang on 6 of 9 tracks from 'Move to Move', left shortly after its release at the end of 1989. Wynne did not pursue a solo career & currently owns a printing business since 2010. Harris released two more albums under the group's original name "Syntonic" & "VIDA!" taking on all lead vocals. He then went on to form the eurodance inspired group Outta Control together with musicians Kimberley Wetmore and Rachid. He also later became a celebrated remixer under the moniker Thunderpuss. Harris rerecorded and reissued "Barry Harris Presents Kon Kan - I Beg Your Pardon 2014" with new remixes. Harris took on sole administrator duties in the digital era on Kon Kan's Spotify page in 2016 and Apple Music/iTunes 2018. In 2020 he rereleased the Kon Kan L.P. VIDA! digitally world-wide with additional remixes never before available. In 2023 Harris continues on as Kon Kan releasing "Stars" July 2023 and "Sinful Wishes (Moonlight Mix) ft. Kimberley Wetmore August 2023.

I sit alone and watch the same old screen
I carry on
It doesn't matter what it is I've seen
I just feel the need to hide away
As I loose myself in side the day
Look at me I keep turning the pages of history
Look at us will we ever find a key in the history
Could it be if I move to you would you move to me
I call you up
[Sorry, I'm not home right now, but you can leave a message]
But all I ever get is your machine
I know you're there
What makes you think it could be just a dream
Do you feel the need to run away
Are you searching for a better day
Look at me I keep turning the pages of history
Look at you trying to fill up your life with things to do
Look at us will we ever find a key in the history
Could it be if I move to you would you move to me
How many times changing my mind
How many days wasted away [Wasted away, ooh]
How many words, what will it take? [What will it take, ooh]
How do we work out this mistake [Aaah]
Look at me I keep turning the pages of history
Look at you trying to fill up your life with things to do
Look at us will we ever find a key in the history
Could it be if I move to you, would you move to me?
Look at me I keep turning the pages of history
Look at you trying to fill up your life with things to do
Look at us will we ever find a key in the history
Could it be if I move to you, would you move to me?
The lyrics to Kon Kan's song "Move to Move" tell the story of two people who are struggling to connect and make their relationship work. The singer is sitting alone and watching the same old screen since their partner has been gone. They feel the need to hide away and lose themselves in the day. They call their partner, but all they ever get is their machine, and they are left wondering if their partner is avoiding them, or if they are just searching for a better day.
The chorus "Look at me I keep turning the pages of history, Look at you trying to fill up your life with things to do, Look at us will we ever find a key in the history, Could it be if I move to you would you move to me?" reveals that the singer and their partner are both struggling to find a connection, possibly due to their pasts, and wondering if they could make it work if they were both willing to make the effort.
Throughout the song, the lyrics reflect the challenges of maintaining a relationship when both partners have their own personal struggles and concerns. The singer questions how many times they have changed their mind, how many days have been wasted, and how many words it will take to work things out. The song ends with the same question posed in the chorus, leaving listeners wondering if the two will ever find the key to their history and make things work.
