I dig his dancing as well, dear CD-of-Mars ... and what is so cool about it is that he does not move as a 'trained dancer' ... but more just from rhythmic enjoyment and his own funky, quirky, expressive personality as a musician ... just a musician enjoying the music with his body as opposed to through his instrument (keyboard). With the others, I think they just don't seem to have as equally expressive personalities ... at least just in this video ... and they are more 'restrictively' dressed, though they all look damn good. The lead's clothes are looser and more dramatically flowing than those of his bandmates ... but I think it all boils down to personality.

Before Disco sucked the life out of them, Kool And The Gang were the ultimate in urban funk. Heard this brilliant track in a nightclub
in Barbados in 1974, and it knocked me down.
No wonder QT used this song for "Pulp Fiction". As for Soul Train, what a fabulous show........

This old 63 year old granny was a groovin 13 year old who never missed an episode of Soul Train. Talk about soul and funk this song captures it all. Kool and the Gang rocked and still do. Even the Soul Train theme song TSOP was also a hit. For those who do not know TSOP stands for The Sound of Philadelphia.
