Please give me some place to rage
I'm not trying to go there, so take me away
Life sometimes pisses me off
It's never a good trip for me
Every time I reach for love, it's taken away
Give me a sign, this is day
Give me some patience, so I pray
It's time to die
Is that what I want?
There's nothing wrong wanting to be loved
Is there something wrong with me?
For once in my life, I'd like to be
Really set free
Let me be me
Night, so I play
Give me a sign, this is day
Give me some guidance, so I pray
It's time to die
Is that what I want?
(Take) Take me away
(Take) Taken away
(Take) Take me away
(Take) Taking me away
Night, so I play
Give me a sign, this is day
Give me some patience, so I pray
It's time to die
Is that what I want?
Night, so I play
Give me the sign, this is day
Give me some guidance, so I pray
It's time to die
Is that what I want?
The lyrics to Korn's song "K..." delve into themes of anger, frustration, and a longing for escape. The singer is fed up with life and the lack of love they receive, and is desperately seeking a way out. The repetition of the phrase "Night, so I play / Give me a sign, this is day" suggests a sense of confusion and indecision - the singer is unsure whether to persist in their struggle or to give up entirely.
Throughout the song, there is a sense of desperation and hopelessness. The line "It's never a good trip for me" suggests that the singer is stuck in a negative pattern, unable to find a way out. They express a desire to be accepted for who they are ("Let me be me"), but are constantly faced with rejection and disappointment. The repeated plea to be taken away further emphasizes this desire for escape - the singer feels trapped and is searching for a way out.
Overall, the lyrics to "K..." are poignant and emotionally charged. They capture the struggles of someone who feels unloved and powerless, and emphasize the importance of finding a way to break free from negative patterns and circumstances.
