I do like blackhead pimple poppin videos. I think some of these techs do amazing jobs. I just think many of these could have been cleared at home little at a time. I do understand some spots you just can't reach and others are too deep but alot of them are superficial and can barely resist even a mild squeeze so many could be cleared by the patient. Of course, I don't know much about it. Just guessing based on what I see.

When I watch Loan try to clean her remover on the glove, I wish she would do what Hien
and others do. Place a small square of gauze directly next to the work area and swipe the needle once and done. She would still have a display of her work product, and the client could even take it home to show others. This would keep her gloves cleaner AND help avoid the removed content from falling on the client's face or eyes.

You know, I used to get on here and leave some really nasty comments not too long ago. Hell, I'm pretty sure you and I have actually gone a few rounds in the past, Lisa. However, I've tried my best to curb that and be more respectful. Verbose much? So let’s educate, shall we? First, this is not pus. You are seeing sebum, keratin, and white blood cells specific to trauma/inflammation as opposed to infection (there are different kinds of white blood cells). The acne depicted here is caused by an inflammatory reaction to NORMAL skin biota, which include bacteria that help normal desquamation of the epithelium. These normal skin bacteria cover the entire face (and body)—they are in every pore and hair follicle—so she’s not spreading them around anymore than you are when you rub your face. With regard to the more bloody and purulent pops, you are seeing a combination of broken down white blood cells, which turn yellow, eosinophils, which help dissolve the sebum and desquamated skin, and blood, which is naturally secreted into the cavity to basically pick up and transport the catabolized pore contents to the various internal organs that break them down further for excretion by the bowels and kidneys. Manual extraction facilitates this process by removing pore contents sufficiently to permit the pores to regain normal function. Where the pores have been obliterated by inflammation, blood, white blood cells, and plasma fill the cavity in much the same way a bruise or hematoma forms. As these cells perform their functions and die, they degrade to their chemical constituents, which give bruises and pimple goo their colors. Staph, strep and MRSA bacteria can create boils and abscesses in closed comedones, but these infections are very different in presentation and appearance, and aestheticians (even in Asia) are trained to recognize them. Hence my comment.

I just remembered why I stopped watching this channel. I thought I'd give them another try but it's the same. They're still leaving a lot of the keratin in the blackheads. These people come to them for their help & now this client will have to have these all done over again. Please go to a different spa. I recommend GA' Spa. Take a look at their videos. The ladies are very gentle. They take their time & make sure every pore is cleaned out even if it takes more than 2, 3, 4 squeezes & hardly any blood. They are very caring!!!

I can't stand it when they manage to pry the surface plug out with the needle, but then don't squeeze it. You know there's more beneath the plug just like there is on all the blackheads they squeeze out. I just don't understand why they do that.

It causes less damage to the skin and less pain for the client.
Often the surrounding skin is red, inflamed delicate and very sore. So pressing can causes tear inducing pain.
Also treatment tge clients use at home between clinic sessions brings contents that remains up to the surface for the next session
The clients also have pre and post sqashing treatment.
Acne care is an going treatment, especially in Vietnam where pollution and chemicals in the soil contribute to much acne .

You dont know what you're doing! Cleanse the skin before and after extractions. After doing a section you need to pause and sanitize your tool and wipe the areas that you worked on. You keep smearing
