Natural Genocide
Krisiun Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Storming process of violation
Open the abyss to wastelands
Nocturnal cycle of degradation
Deluvian nature awakened

Silent ominous waves pound
Vultures prepare their arrival
Killing ground shakes
Crumbling mountains explode like bombs
Raging sea swallows the land
Dragging Earth's fate into the void

Volcanoes enraged
Skies decayed
Molten rocks descend
Smoldering nations in pain

Monstrous tide
Divine genocide

Torrential flood
Natural Genocide

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Krisiun's Natural Genocide describe a catastrophic event in which the natural world is overwhelming humanity. The opening lines suggest that the process is intentional, as if the earth itself is "storming" and intentionally "opening the abyss" to destroy human civilization. The cyclical nature of this destruction is suggested by the "nocturnal cycle of degradation," as if the earth is simply returning to a state of wildness and destruction that has always existed.

The middle lines of the song describe the immediate impact of this destruction on the earth itself. "Silent ominous waves" suggest a stillness that only intensifies the coming devastation. The vultures preparing their arrival seem to be portending the end of humanity as we know it. Then, the destruction hits: the "killing ground shakes," mountains explode, and the sea overcomes the land. The world as humanity knows it is dragged helplessly into the void.

The finale of the song describes the aftermath of the "natural genocide." The volcanoes are "enraged," the skies are "decayed," and "smoldering nations" are left in pain. The inescapable tide of destruction is a "monstrous tide" that is not merely human-made, but "divine." Krisiun's Natural Genocide is a grim reminder that nature's power is awesome and unstoppable.
