Some Say
Kristian Leontiou Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

No more trouble in my soul
No more time to make me whole
So today I try to tell you
I'll be on my way

Show me where the answers lives
Show me where the truth forgives
In my head I've tried to reason
I'll be on my way

Some say, the road is clear
Some say, confront your fears
Some say, but can you feel the love that do?

Why do people always change?
When memories aways stay the same
In my head I've tryed to reason
I'll be on my way

Some say, the road is clear
Some say, confront your fears
Some say, but can you feel the love that do?

One day we will be free, under the summer sun
And you will see
One day we will be free, under the summer sun
And you will see

Some say, the road is clear
Some say, confront your fears
Some say, but can you feel the love that do?

Can you feel the love
Can you feel the love
Can you feel the love
Can you feel the love that I do?

Can you feel the love
Can you feel the love
Can you feel the love
Can you feel the love that I do?

Can you feel the love that I do?

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Kristian Leontiou's song, Some Say, seem to be about a person experiencing personal growth and change, and feeling the need to move on from their current situation. The opening lines, "No more trouble in my soul, no more time to make me whole," suggest that the singer has resolved some personal issues and is ready to leave them behind. The repetition of "I'll be on my way" serves as a refrain emphasizing the singer's intention to move forward.

The second verse is a request for guidance and understanding. "Show me where the answers live, show me where the truth forgives" suggests that the singer is seeking clarity about their life path. The following line, "In my head, I've tried to reason," indicates that the singer has been introspective and thoughtful about their circumstances.

The chorus, "Some say the road is clear, some say confront your fears, some say but can you feel the love that I do?" seems to be an acknowledgement of the many different perspectives people have about life and change. Some people may believe that moving forward will be easy ("the road is clear"), while others acknowledge that facing fears is a necessary part of growth. The final line of the chorus, "but can you feel the love that I do?" may be a plea to the listener to understand and empathize with the singer's journey.

The final verse offers a hopeful vision of the future. "One day we will be free, under the summer sun, and you will see" suggests a sense of liberation and joy to come. The chorus repeats, with added emphasis on the line "can you feel the love that I do?" This could be interpreted as both a desire for connection and validation from others as well as a statement of the singer's own conviction in their chosen path.

Overall, the lyrics to Some Say seem to capture a universal experience of personal growth and change, with a focus on the emotional complexity of leaving the past behind and moving towards an unknown future.

Hot For Crime

Meredith incarnated inner and outer beauty, integrity, warmth, charm, wit and radiance...if only her path hadn't crossed those whose acts were the exact opposite....beautiful and soulful song...a wonderful memory to cherish. It takes but one tragic circumstance or icy blast of ill-fated wind to blow out a candle no matter how brightly it burnt.

Cons

This guy is so talented and very underated.

A poignant reminder that life is so fragile. I cannot imagine the pain and suffering of Meredith's parents losing such a beautiful daughter in such an appalling way. i hope all of those responsible pay the price they deserve. RIP
