This is my favorite ballade, and he plays it perfectly. 5:20-5:35 moved me to tears. No one can play chopin better than him, at least to me.

das weiß ich leider nicht, aber die nächsten Konzerte von ihm sind in Ludwigshafen, Regensburg und Baden-Baden, er sollte sich mal lieber mehr Richtung Norden orientieren :D

I realized that the sound gets sharpened much, much more than any other pianists in that zone you mentioned. This is an extraordinary difference. His play and interpretation is unique, let alone his superb technique.

You know what, first I thought No.1 sounds amazing and familiar, and then No.4 for its calm, mature story line and then No.2 for its dramatic contrast, and then No.3 that sounds like a fun myth. After all, they are all so great, and Zimmerman’s charismatic play is out of this world. Some might say Chopin is delicate, but no, he’s delicate beast and Zimmerman seems the only one who can make it come true.

True!!! I love that A♭- G - F - E♭- - - A♭- G - F - E♭- - - in octave, sounds so beautiful with the reverberation effect caused by the piano and the recording studio
