Alka yagnik : Alka Yagnik was born in Calcutta to Gujarati Nagar parents based in Calcutta. Alka's mother Shubha Yagnik was a singer of Indian classical music. She was determined to see her daughter succeed as a singer.
Alka Yagnik is classically trained and is the most popular, as well as one of the leading playback singers in Bollywood since the late 1980's. Alka began singing bhajans for Calcutta Radio at the age of six. Her first song was for the film Payal Ki Jhankaar in (1979), followed by Laawaris (1981) with the song Mere Angene Mein, and Hamari Bahu Alka (1982). She got her big break with the song Ek Do Teen from the film Tezaab (1988). The song turned her into a star overnight and went on to become a pop hit. She also received her first Filmfare Best Female Playback Award for the song.

The song "Chura Ke Dil Mera" is a tale of two lovers who are madly in love with each other. The song begins with the male protagonist telling his lover that she has stolen his heart and has flown away with it. He feels like he has gone crazy for her and doesn't know what's happening to his heart. The female protagonist responds by saying that she has also stolen his heart and doesn't know where she is going. She knows that the destination for her heart is with him, and she is walking on his path.
The song has many instances where the couple is expressing their love for each other. The male protagonist tells the female that his heart is beating fast, and she is responsible for it. He wants to call her to some other place and create a reason for it. The female protagonist feels that the guy is not loyal to her and that he might get distracted by someone else. She tells him that he has made many promises to her, but she knows that in this world, many other beautiful girls exist. The melody is catchy and romantic, and the duet of Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik adds more charm to it.
