Kunt and the Gang 's songs take a light-hearted approach to many modern issues, with song titles such as 'Wanking Over A Pornographic Polaroid Of An Ex-Girlfriend Who Died'.
Performing since 2003, the debut LP, I Have a Little Wank and I Have a Little Cry, was released in 2004, the first part of a 'wanking and crying' trilogy of albums. A Greatest hits album and DVD Complete Kunt was released in 2010.
The act has been compared, musically at least, to fellow UK comedy act John Shuttleworth as all the songs are performed on a cheap-sounding keyboard and simple drum machine.
Affiliated artists include The Kunts, Kunt and the Gang Presents, Little Kunt , The Krown Jewelz and Kunt's manager Mike Gibbons.
Kunt also endorsed The Krackpots in their Christmas number 1 campaign in 2023.

I Was Pissed Out of My Head
Kunt and the Gang Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I went out on the sauce i went down the pub
Another pub and then a club of course
I woke up the following day with
A naked bird in bed
I couldn’t really help it
I was pissed out of my head
I was pissed out of my head
I was pissed out of my head
I couldn’t really help it
I was pissed out of my head
My bird was ill and so I
Shagged a big old malt instead
But I couldn’t really help it
I was pissed out of my head
I couldn’t really help it
I was pissed out of my head
I was down the pub
I’d had eight pints of Fuller’s London Pride
This bloke called me a fag and
So I dragged the cunt outside
I smashed a glass into his face
Cos I suddenly saw red
I couldn’t really help it
I was pissed out of my head
I was pissed out of my head
I was pissed out of my head
I couldn’t really help it
I was pissed out of my head
Someone told me afterwards I’d
Misheard what he said
But I couldn’t really help it
I was pissed out of my head
I couldn’t really help it
I was pissed out of my head stylophone
I was in my car the other week
I’d had a few cans
I was fiddling with the radio when
I ran over this man
On a zebra crossing, so I left him for dead
I couldn’t have helped him anyway
I was pissed out of my head
I was pissed out of my head
I was pissed out of my head
I couldn’t really help it
I was pissed out of my head
It said in the local paper the
Doctors think that he’s brain dead
But I couldn’t really help it
I was pissed out of my head
I couldn’t really help it
I was pissed out of my head
I had a lunchtime meeting in Whitechapel
With two bottles of wine
It was two O’clock in the afternoon
I was wrecked out of my mind
I ended up with a prostitute but
When she lay down and spread
I couldn’t get a hard-on
I was pissed out of my head
So I smacked her around instead
I was pissed out of my head
I was pissed out of my head
I couldn’t really help it
I was pissed out of my head
I broke a chair leg and stuck it up her
And oh my god she bled
But I couldn’t really help it
I was pissed out of my head
I couldn’t really help it
I was pissed out of my head
I was pissed out of my head
I was pissed out of my head
I couldn’t really help it
I was pissed out of my head
Get off me case, get out me face
You heard what I said
I couldn’t really help it
I was pissed out of my head
I couldn’t really help it
I was pissed out of my head
The lyrics to Kunt and the Gang's song "I Was Pissed Out of My Head" tell a series of humorous and somewhat outrageous anecdotes about the consequences of being heavily intoxicated. The singer narrates various incidents where their judgment and actions were severely impaired due to being drunk, leading to comical yet troubling outcomes.
In the first verse, the singer describes how they went out drinking heavily because their partner ("bird") was ill. They end up waking up the next day next to a stranger in bed, highlighting the unabashed and reckless behavior that can occur when one is excessively drunk. The repetition of "I was pissed out of my head" emphasizes the excuse or justification being used for their actions, indicating a lack of personal responsibility.
The second verse delves into a violent encounter at a pub where the singer admits to escalating a situation unnecessarily due to their inebriation. They physically assault someone after misinterpreting a comment, ultimately regretting their actions but attributing it to being drunk. This highlights the dangerous consequences of impaired decision-making and aggression brought on by excessive alcohol consumption.
The third verse takes a darker turn as the singer recounts a hit-and-run incident while driving under the influence, leading to a potentially fatal outcome. The callous disregard for the victim's well-being and the casual manner in which the event is described underscores the extreme consequences of driving while intoxicated.
The final verse introduces a disturbing scenario involving sexual violence towards a prostitute after failed sexual performance due to intoxication. The singer's violent and cruel actions towards the prostitute, including physical harm, further illustrate the destructive and dehumanizing behavior that can result from being heavily drunk.
Overall, the lyrics paint a bleak picture of the harmful impacts of excessive drinking on both the individual and those around them. The repetition of the phrase "I couldn't really help it, I was pissed out of my head" serves as a recurring refrain throughout each anecdote, highlighting the theme of avoiding responsibility for one's actions by attributing them to intoxication. The song ultimately serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers and recklessness of irresponsible alcohol consumption.
