Regarding the difference between the music on this project with Anomalyst, Ario has noted that the songs he writes for Anomalyst sound like Kurosuke before the other members of the band get involved. Ario also deliberately scaled back the guitars and emphasized the 80's pop influence on this project.
The project and album remained nameless until the night before it was uploaded to digital platforms; the name Kurosuke was suggested by Ario's friend and album collaborator, Indisya Zealaikha, who took it from fictional sprite creatures Makkuro Kurosuke seen in several Studio Ghibli animated films. Kurosuke is also an Indonesian abbreviation for "kukus roti, susu, keju" (steamed bread, milk, cheese), which is one of Ario's favorite snacks and that he feels perfectly embodies the music of this project: sweet, delicious and tender
While the album was recorded and released purely for fun with no plan to perform the songs live, it soon proved popular enough to attract gig offers, which led to Ario performing as Kurosuke with the members of Anomalyst and other friends as his backing band.
Wine
Kurosuke Lyrics

You and me, making moments in time
If it's dream, I don't want to wake up
If it's real, life mean live forever
Too much wine, uh
Not enough time, uh
Too much wine, uh
You and me, lost in conversations
You and me, have no expectations
In this evening, I'm so glad in happens
But what if, this could be forever
Too much wine, uh
Not enough time, uh
Too much wine, uh
Not enough time, uh
Ooh...
Ooh...
Ooh...
Ooh...
Too much wine, uh
No enough time, uh
Too much wine, uh
Not enough time, uh
The song "Wine" by Kurosuke presents us with a situation where two people are deeply engrossed in a conversation. They are talking well past midnight and are making moments in time. The singer is unsure if it's a dream or real-life situation. Nonetheless, the singer wants it to last forever because it means so much to them. They are lost in conversations and are enjoying each other's company with no expectations. The singer is glad that the moment is happening, but there is a hint of uncertainty wondering what could happen next.
However, the repeated refrain of "too much wine, not enough time" suggests that the singer is struggling to balance their emotions and the passage of time. Wine could act as a metaphor here, indicating an escape from reality, allowing them to savor the moment longer than it would generally last. They are running out of time, which could mean that they have to leave, or the moment will inevitably come to an end.
The song is somewhat bittersweet because it displays how moments like this are so fleeting, and the time and the world have no care for such things. The song's lyrical content highlights the beauty of enjoying a moment and how it could provide happiness even if it's temporary.
