Based in Camas, Washington, the atmospheric, female-fronted, indie quartet began at home where music was a part of everyday life growing up. "I don’t think I ever really saw myself doing anything else. Sitting in my bedroom tracking demos, experimenting for hours upon hours was never a chore. I lost myself in it; it was an outlet for everything from frustrations with relationships to a search for meaning and purpose," says Tim when describing the passion behind Kye Kye. “For all of us, this has been a labor of love."
Fronted by Olga's enchanting and wispy vocals, Kye Kye couples intricate lyrics with raw, electronic instrumentation. Kye Kye’s influences range from the organic likes of Sigur Ros, Deathcab for Cutie, and Coldplay, to the electric sounds of artists like M83. "Genre didn't really mean a whole lot for us growing up; we never had some kind of loyalty to a specific type of music. Be it folk, R&B, or anything classically 80s or 90s, it was always about the connection and about listening for honesty in the music, and I think that most people can somehow feel it without really being able to explain how." Olga explains, "When we write songs, that's what we strive to do: create music that we connect to and that makes us feel things and brings out those emotions within us. That’s what’s important to us in music: a connection."
Their 2011 debut album Young Love, produced by Eric Owyoung of Future of Forestry, was met with unforeseen and widespread acceptance, garnering an immediately devoted fan-base. Kye Kye's music is featured in the upcoming film Renee, starring Kat Dennings and Chad Michael Murray, and has also been heard in MTV's Awkward, as well as in commercials for both Samsung Galaxy SIII and Jawbone JAMBOX.
Amidst fans' growing anticipation , Kye Kye is excited to announce the arrival of their sophomore album. Having worked throughout January of 2013 in Nashville, TN with Producer Chad Howat (Paper Route, Brooke Waggoner), Kye Kye's second LP is set to be released in early Fall 2013.

Glass
Kye Kye Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Glass-clear thoughts for the shortest slight moments
Pure birth seems I'm furthest from it
Does the light just disguise you
Or can you be found in it?
Letting go, carry us away
Close your eyes, to see what it really means
Effortless hands to hold on to peace
Guard it most
From dark distractions
Driven by a mood that takes over when you lose yourself
Is it you, to hold on to an image
Of shadows you remember?
Will it turn into truth?
Slow flow, will it show?
You're afraid to let it go
Winter it won't last
Watch, the sun is bleeding out.
The lyrics of Kye Kye's song Glass are rich in metaphors and imagery, creating a poignant portrayal of the struggle to hold on to purity and peace in the face of darkness and fear. The first line, "Blank earth meets weight pity and fear," suggests a sense of emptiness or barrenness, juxtaposed against the heaviness of pity and fear. The next line, "Glass-clear thoughts for the shortest slight moments," could be interpreted as fleeting moments of clarity and purity, like the fragility of glass that can easily be shattered. The lyrics then delve deeper into the internal struggle to maintain the purity of spirit, with "Pure birth seems I'm furthest from it" highlighting the distance between the idealized state and the reality of human experience.
The following lines, "Does the light just disguise you/Or can you be found in it?" pose a searching question about the nature of light and its ability to conceal or reveal. The idea of letting go and being carried away, "Close your eyes, to see what it really means," suggests a surrender or release, perhaps necessary for the attainment of true peace. The metaphor of "effortless hands to hold on to peace" presents the idea that true peace is not something that can be forced or grasped at, but rather something that comes naturally, like the grace of effortless movement. This idea is reinforced by the next line, "Drink it in, desire hit me so sweet," which suggests an almost addictive quality to the experience.
However, the lyrics also acknowledge the presence of darkness and distraction that threatens to disrupt this peace. The lines, "Guard it most/From dark distractions/Driven by a mood that takes over when you lose yourself" suggest that the peace and purity of spirit must be carefully guarded, lest it be overtaken by negative forces. The question of whether one is holding on to a false image of purity or if it can be realized in reality is posed in the next line, "Is it you, to hold on to an image/Of shadows you remember?/Will it turn into truth?" The final lines of the song, "Slow flow, will it show?/You're afraid to let it go/Winter it won't last/Watch, the sun is bleeding out" suggest a hopeful note, a slow and gradual shift towards light and warmth, even in the face of fear and uncertainty.

Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. B.I.B.L.E
The story of Jesus Christ is the story of an ascended master named Yashua and how he attained Christ Conciousness through living the way he did. It seems impossible to reach that light, but you to can as he did, as we all can. If you follow the path. It is an instrucrion manual on how to attain Christ consciousness. Many ascended masters have attained the stone. Yashua (Jesus) is just one of them. His story heavily modified in the bible, but the basics are there, especially if you also read the apothacary. The gospel of Thomas is great. It refers ro the time "Jesus" was missing in the Bible. When he travelled to the east and studied Buddhism and Eastern Philosophies. The Romans didnt want people to know Jesus' teachings came from Buddhist teachings so they removed much of the story to create a new religion. But the teachings are not new. They are the same as they have been for millenia. Same teachings, attributed to a single God and a single prophet to create the new religion of Christianity and maintain a hold on the masses of the world as the Roman Empire fell, essentially becoming the Roman Catholic Church. A transition from an empire/government into a religion. Religion is capable of seeping into and influencing many nations, Empires, governments, regions, what have you. Maintaining control and vast riches being funded by peoples all the world over. Like an Empire that streaches to all corners of the world.
The plot has always been global domination. Be it by means of government and military conquest, exapnding borders in an attempt to strech said borders across the entore planet. Or by religous means which are not bound by borders, but must compete with other religions. All religions essentially teaching the same teachings. Each muddled by its regions/governments infulence. But at their core. Theyre all the same.
Love and forgivness. Both of yourself and all others. For we are all the same. One entity. Seperated by vibrational differences and manifested as individuals via the frequency of Ego. God is you. And you are God.
And so it is written, in the bible, God is within you. The kingdom of heaven is within you. To enter the kingdom you must ask God for forgivness. But if God is in you. This means, you musy forgive yourself to enter the kindgom and live in harmony, bringing heaven on earth by living in a state of forgiveness and love and resonating that frequency into manifestation of your reality. All is one.
Jesus says in the gospel of Thomas
"To enter the kingdom you must turn the two into one and the one into two. You must make the outter like the inner and the inner like the outter. You must make the male into female and the female into male so that the male is not male and the female is not female. Only then will you enter the kingdom."
In other words, you must dissolve yourself of the illusion of seperation and become one with all in existence. This is attaining Christ counciousness. The folding of dimensions to resonate higher into higher dimensions. Like the 4D cube that folds into itself. The outter like the inner and the inner like the outter.
This dimensional shift will allow you to see reality from higher perspective. From 4, 5, 6 D or even higher. This is to enter and live in "the kingdom" to exist in a higher dimensional plane.
This is achieved by following the path of Christ. Same as the path of the Buddah. Or any acsended masters.

... And so it was
@Nathan7041
To see what (life) really means, close your eyes and you'll see... nothing/darkness = Life means nothing
@edwardoyelade1177
@@Nathan7041 This is probably late but it's actually a song of hope. Letting go and closing your eyes led to discovering a bliss you're afraid to lose to the winter. But don't worry the Sun (Son) is bleeding out.
@fuckthefedsbeing1008
She never says that tho
@edwardoyelade1177
@@fuckthefedsbeing1008Yes, I may have extracted meaning not explicitly given.
But, from my experience with the songs this band makes, and the way they have a scripture for every verse, I can assuredly say this is a song about relationship with Christ and (most probably) letting go of our self in faith in the Sun.
