Born and raised in Melbourne, Minogue first achieved recognition starring in the Australian soap opera Neighbours, playing tomboy mechanic Charlene Robinson. She gained prominence as a recording artist in the late 1980s and released four bubblegum and dance-pop-influenced studio albums produced by Stock Aitken Waterman. By the early 1990s, she had amassed several top ten singles in the UK and Australia, including "I Should Be So Lucky", "The Loco-Motion", "Hand on Your Heart", and "Better the Devil You Know". Taking more creative control over her music, Minogue signed with Deconstruction Records in 1993 and released Kylie Minogue (1994) and Impossible Princess (1997), both of which received positive reviews. She returned to mainstream dance-oriented music with 2000's Light Years, including the number-one hits "Spinning Around" and "On a Night Like This". The follow-up, Fever (2001), was an international breakthrough for Minogue, becoming her best-selling album to date. Two of its singles, "Love at First Sight" and "In Your Eyes", became hits, but its lead single, "Can't Get You Out of My Head" became one of the most successful singles of the 2000s, selling over five million units.
Minogue continued reinventing her image and experimenting with a range of genres on her subsequent albums, which spawned successful singles such as "Slow", "2 Hearts", "All the Lovers", "Santa Baby", "Timebomb" and "Dancing". With her 2020 album DISCO, she became the first female artist to have a chart-topping album in the UK for five consecutive decades. Minogue made her film debut in The Delinquents (1989) and portrayed Cammy in Street Fighter (1994). She has also appeared in the films Moulin Rouge! (2001), Jack & Diane, Holy Motors (2012) and San Andreas (2015). In 2014, she appeared as a judge on the third series of The Voice UK and The Voice Australia. Her other ventures include product endorsements, children's books, fashion, and charitable work.
Minogue was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in the 2008 New Year Honours for services to music. She was appointed by the French government as a Chevalier (knight) of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres for her contribution to the enrichment of French culture. In 2005, while Minogue was on tour, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was awarded an honorary Doctor of Health Science (D.H.Sc.) degree by Anglia Ruskin University in 2011 for her work in raising awareness for breast cancer. At the 2011 ARIA Music Awards, she was inducted by the Australian Recording Industry Association into the ARIA Hall of Fame. She was appointed Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in the 2019 Australia Day Honours.

Nothing that I do is right
I think I've had an oversight
You don't know what you're doin' to me
Why do you always put me down
It's better when you're not around
We always seem to disagree
You're killing our love
You're screwing me up
I can't take no more
And I've had enough
Again it ain't right
I'm choking inside
I love you in death and the afterlife
But I don't know what it is that keeps me goin'
You get enough of this, it keeps us flowin'
I'm pushin' ahead, and you can't stop me now
Took some time to realize
I saw it right before my eyes
That we don't get along anymore
I tried my best to make it work
You always keep me in the dark
And now I'm feeling oh so unsure
But you know I love ya
You're stringin' me out
I can't anymore and I've had enough
And it ain't right
I'm chokin' inside
I'll love you to death in the afterlife
But I don't know what it is that keeps me goin'
You get enough of this, it keeps us flowin'
I'm pushin' ahead, and you can't stop me now
And I don't know what it is that makes it matter
So tell me what to give to make it better
I'm pushing ahead, and you can't stop me now
Pushin' and a-shovin'
Pushin' and a-shovin'
Pushin' and a-shovin'
Pushin' and a-shovin'
But I don't know what it is that keeps me goin'
You get enough of this, it keeps us flowin'
I'm pushin' ahead, and you can't stop me now
And I don't know what it is that makes it matter
So tell me what to give to make it better
I'm pushing ahead, and you can't stop me now
Don't know what it is
Don't know what it is
Don't know what it is
The lyrics to Kylie Minogue's song "I Know" can be interpreted as a reflection of a tumultuous relationship where one party feels they are always being put down and can no longer take it. The first verse sets the stage where the singer feels nothing they do is right, and there is always a disagreement with their partner. In the chorus, the singer confesses their deep love for their partner, as evident in the line "I love you in death and the afterlife." However, the singer cannot pinpoint what is keeping them in the relationship, as seen in the repetition of "I don't know what it is that keeps me goin'." In the second verse, the singer realizes that the relationship is not working and gives the partner an ultimatum to make things right, or they will move forward without them.
The song's chorus suggests that regardless of the difficulties in the relationship, the singer is pushing ahead and will not allow anything to stop them. The chorus also hints that the singer is aware of the problems in the relationship but is still searching for reasons to keep going. The repetition of the line "You can't stop me now" reinforces the singer's determination to move forward despite the obstacles.
Overall, the song's lyrics suggest a complicated and emotionally challenging relationship where one party is struggling to keep things going while the other keeps putting them down. In the end, the singer realizes that enough is enough and puts their foot down, making it clear that they will move forward with or without their partner.

I feel the rush, rush
Are we coming to the edge of a waterfall?
Is it your touch, touch?
I can see it in your eyes that you want it all
Can I give you everything that you'll ever need?
Ooh, forever starts right now
Like a wind at a sail driving on a sea
Only you can show me how
You can tell me now
That I'll never come down
I know, I know
You can show me light
When we sleep at night
I know, I know
This river runs deep
And the moon glides by
And the mountains lay wet with snow
And your love comes back like a faithful tide
Teaching everything I know
Woh-ooh (Woh-ooh)
Woh-ooh-oh-oh (Woh-ooh-oh-oh)
Woh-ooh (Woh-ooh)
Woh-ooh-oh-oh (Woh-ooh-oh-oh)
Is it too much, much?
'Cause it's written in the skies who we really are
Am I in love, love?
Deeper is the dark brighter shining stars
Can we be everything that we wanna be?
Ooh never let this die
Feel the wave of your kiss washing over me
Only you can get me high
You can tell me now
That I'll never come down
I know, I know
You can show me light
When we sleep at night
I know, I know
This river runs deep
And the moon glides by
And the mountains lay wet with snow
And your love comes back like a faithful tide
Teaching everything I know
Woh-ooh (Woh-ooh)
Woh-ooh-oh-oh (Woh-ooh-oh-oh)
Woh-ooh (Woh-ooh)
Woh-ooh-oh-oh (Woh-ooh-oh-oh)

Thought I heard all her publicly known unreleased tracks but I guess not. This is a cute little number and would have gone well on the Ultimate Kylie greatest hits.
