The Loco-Motion
Kylie Minogue Lyrics

Everybody's doing a brand-new dance, now
(Come on baby, do the Loco-motion)
I know you'll get to like it if you give it a chance now
(Come on baby, do the Loco-motion)
My little baby sister can do it with me
It's easier than learning your A-B-Cs
So come on, come on, do the Loco-motion with me
You gotta swing your hips, now

Come on, baby
Jump up
Jump back
Well, now, I think you've got the knack
Oh, oh

Now that you can do it, let's make a chain, now
(Come on baby, do the Loco-motion)
A chug-a chug-a motion like a railway train, now
(Come on baby, do the Loco-motion)
Do it nice and easy, now, don't lose control
A little bit of rhythm and a lot of soul

So, come on, come on
Do the Loco-motion with me
The Loco-motion
Come on, come on
The Loco-motion
Come on, come on
The Loco-motion
Come on, come on
Come on, come on
Come on

Move around the floor in a Loco-motion
(Come on baby, do the Loco-motion) (yeah)
Do it holding hands if you get the notion
(Come on baby, do the Loco-motion)

There's never been a dance that's so easy to do
It even makes you happy when you're feeling blue
So come on, come on, do the Loco-motion with me

You gotta swing your hips, now
(Come on baby)
Jump up, mmm jump back
Well, I think you've got the knack
Oh, oh

Do the Loco-motion
(Come on baby, do the Loco-motion)
Do the Loco-motion
(Come on baby, do the Loco-motion)
Do it nice and easy, now, don't lose control
A little bit of rhythm and a lot of soul

So, come on, come on
Do the Loco-motion
Come on, come on
Do the Loco-motion
Come on, come on
Do the Loco-motion with me
The Loco-motion
Come on, come on
The Loco-motion
Come on, come on
The Loco-motion
Come on, come on
The Loco-motion
Come on, come on
The Loco-motion
Come on, come on

Wow, I remember her song 'The Loco-Motion' back in 1988. Recall hearing
it played on the juke box in a local Pizza Hut restaurant here in the
States. She was around 20 years old at the time. Honestly I might have
spent the 50 cents of my own money to hear it. Can't recall clearly. My
teenage hormones clouded my memories at the time. She was just......
wow. Only 2 years older then me at the time. Which looking back made her
remotely "attainable". Much to my embarrassment I didn't have a chance
at all. She was just so pretty and petite. Every teenage boy's dream.
Much love and respect for her

It's cool that she's never stopped and has hits in every decade. She never slowed her roll.

During her “can’t get you out of my head” days I couldn’t believe this was her song! I was like how was this woman still so young 20 years later

@gars129 Springsteen started in the 70s but your point still stands.

Normally I don't like remakes of old classics but this one was done so well with it's ultra fast tempo. 1988 was an excellent year in music.
