Kyte Lyrics

The deep heavy feeling hot and cold
Stop with the worst as you wait for the shallow
And chase after castles like there's no tomorrow
Sometimes dust flies up
Hold your breath
Make a straight round surrender
Faced around with honest answers
Choking on a silent device
Return from the clockwork just to make you see
The deep orange brickwork let it be
Stop with the worst as you wait for the shallow
And chase after castles like there's no tomorrow
And sometimes dust flies up
Hold your breath
Make a straight round surrender
And timing is a planet
Faced around with honest answers
Choking on a silent device
(Return from the clockwork just to make you see)
The lyrics of Kyte's song "Planet" seem to explore the idea of the difficulties of life and the importance of timing in finding one's way. The first two lines, "Silence and suffering speaks the most, / The deep heavy feeling hot and cold," suggest that sometimes the most profound things are not always spoken, but felt. The next lines, "Stop with the worst as you wait for the shallow, / And chase after castles like there's no tomorrow," seem to be warning against focusing on negative experiences and chasing after empty dreams. These lines are followed by the idea that "sometimes dust flies up," perhaps suggesting that unexpected things can happen and we should be prepared for them.
The chorus includes the lines "Hold your breath / Make a straight round surrender / And timing is a planet / Faced around with honest answers / Choking on a silent device." These lines seem to suggest that sometimes we need to stop and take a breath, surrender to the timing of our lives, and be honest with ourselves. The last line, "Choking on a silent device," could be interpreted as feeling powerless or silenced in our struggles.
The final lines, "Return from the clockwork just to make you see / The deep orange brickwork let it be," suggest the idea of coming back to reality and accepting things as they are. Overall, the song seems to be about finding peace in difficult times and trusting the timing of life.
