They Won't Sleep
Kyte Lyrics

The day breaks
Save us, timber
Worn out on time
Makes sense sometimes
Too late, fly
Drawn out, point at
Walk out so strong, in spite of time
We wont sleep now, they wont make a sound
The chances lost, the time is won
In all we trust, to keep from harm.
The lyrics to Kyte's song "They Won't Sleep" are cryptic and open to interpretation, but there is a transformative atmosphere that revolves around the idea of strength and resilience in the face of change or danger. The song emphasizes the importance of staying grounded in difficult or tumultuous times, and depicts a sense of hopelessness and desperation that is contrasted against the power of perseverance and courage.
The opening lines "Stay down, special / The day breaks / Save us, timber / Worn out on time" convey a sense of urgency and danger, as though the singer is calling out for help or warning someone of imminent danger. The idea of time running out is reinforced by the repetition of the phrase "worn out on time", which suggests that there is only so much time left to take action or make a change.
The line "We won't sleep now, they won't make a sound" suggests that there is some kind of conflict or threat that must be faced, and that the singer is resolved to stay vigilant and strong in order to overcome it. The refrain "In all we trust, to keep from harm" underscores the importance of community and mutual support in times of crisis, suggesting that it is through coming together that we are able to endure and overcome adversity.
Overall, the lyrics to "They Won't Sleep" are a powerful testament to the resilience of the human spirit, and a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope if we stay strong and hold on to each other.
