Equatorial
Lô Borges Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Vou dizer o que sei,
Lugar sem lei que me incendeia
Ó você, meu amor, viveu sem ver
Evidente o espaço eu sei
Nesta noite equatorial, eu vou sair outra vez,
Onde morre a trilha do meu silêncio
Vou te buscar...
Clara dor tropical
Lugar sem lei
Meu adeus minha vila
Meu adeus sideral
Ninguém notou
Nesta noite nasceu meu pai
Pelo dia Equatorial
Eu vou sair outra vez
Onde morre a trilha do meu silêncio
Vou te buscar
Nesta noite equatorial
Eu vou sair outra vez

Onde morre a trilha do meu silêncio
Vou te buscar

Overall Meaning

In Lô Borges's song "Equatorial," the singer narrates his search for his lover in a place without rules and full of intense emotions. The lyrics are quite figurative, referring to a tropical pain, a space that the singer knows very well, and a trail of silence that leads to the lover. The song seems to be set in a warm and passionate night, maybe in a tropical country, where the singer is seeking his lover, who has lived without seeing him. The lyrics suggest that their love may be forbidden or unconventional, as it is described as "without rules."

The song's chorus repeats the singer's desire to search for his lover in this unique and intense place, where the trail of his silence ends. With each repetition, the emotional intensity of the singer grows, as he is determined to find his love in this place. The song ends with the singer leaving his village and setting off to find his love again in this equatorial space.

Overall, "Equatorial" is a deeply emotional and passionate song that captures the singer's journey to find his lover in a place where there are no rules. The lyrics are filled with vivid imagery and symbolism, making it a unique and powerful song.

Beto tocando aqui no meu quintal.
