この頃のラルクはメディア露出が少なく、歌番組でもトークはあまりしてなかった印象。
うたばん、HEYHEYHEYなどトーク主体の音楽番組にはほとんど出ていなかった。(90年代はいっぱい出ていたけど)
ただ新曲が出れば、こういうトークの少ない音楽番組には出演してくれていたので毎回楽しみにみてたなー。
この頃は今の時代よりも、有名なアーティストがかなり多く活躍していて、鎬を削りあっていた音楽戦国時代。
そんな中でも、ラルクは大御所バンドとして独特の存在感があり、メディア露出が少なくても人気が低迷しない数少ないバンドでした。
そして今なお第一線級で活躍しているという衝撃。
若いファン層がいるのは純粋に嬉しい。

V系贔屓な見解ではありますが、同意出来る部分が多いです。
2005年のヒットチャートは既に酷いもんでした。
90年代バンドは手の届かないような存在という感じでしたが、
この頃からオレンジレンジみたいな、今でいうYoutuberみたいな
そこら辺にいる若者みたいなバンドが急増していました。
やってる音楽もあまり好みではなかったです。
90年代後期にV系ブームの最盛期を迎えた反動で、
00年初頭から青春パンクブームが訪れたのだと思います。
V系は、非現実的・比喩表現の多い歌詞・着飾ったファッション
個性的な歌唱・複雑なサウンドが多いのに対し、
青春パンク系は、現実的・直接的な歌詞・ラフなファッション
自然な歌唱・シンプルなサウンドと、全く真逆の音楽性でしたからね。
1960年代後期、世界的にプログレが流行ったあと、
70年代に入りパンクが流行った流れと似ています。
昔から、一ジャンルが流行すると、その反動で、
真逆の音楽性のものが流行するんですよね。
