LMNO was introduced to the music industry in late 80's early 90's witnessing at first hand the N.W.A. legacy, (see the LMNO's cameo appearance in the D.O.C.'s "Formula" video with Dr. Dre). LMNO was recruited by Rhyme Syndicate to be in his first group with fellow Visionaries member Key-Kool. After the group disbanded, LMNO worked on various demo projects until his debut on the Circle of Power (of Blak Forest) album. LMNO then contributed works on the Blak Forest crew album "You are Now Entering."
With the West Coast Underground and it's rising star Ras Kass grabbing the attention of the hip-hop world, heads on the West and East tuned into Key-Kool & Rhettmatic's "E=MC5," a posse cut featuring Ras Kass and his crew Western Hemisfear; ironically, the "white kid" from Long Beach named LMNO shocked audiences with the infamous "Don't f--- with LMNO, or I'll send your demo tape to Jerry Heller" From that point, LMNO began gaining attention, and could very well have fallen into the "shock-line rapper" category, yet, this spiritually maturing artist chose quite a different path, and left the "tongue & cheek" style for others to exploit.
Charging forward as a spiritual soldier, with faith and JAH as motivation, LMNO began evolving as an artist and a person. After shaping and voicing his views on the Visionaries albums "Galleries" and "Sophomore Jinx," LMNO was ready for his debut solo effort. His debut 12 inch sleeper cult-classic "Hit the Fence," as well as the popular 12" inch releases "Radiant" and "Grin & Bear It" had heads waiting for a full length album.
LMNO's "Leave My Name Out" (Up Above Records) includes his popular singles, along with brilliant LMNO/MadLib team-up "Head Lock," yet it is the spiritually truthful, life-driven songs that seemed most appropriately reflective of the times in which the album was released: just after the tragic events of 9/11.
LMNO has been putting in much work with Visionaries doing numerous shows, recordings and touring. LMNO is currently promoting his third album " P's & Q's " IN STORES NOW on UP ABOVE RECORDS/CAROLINE DISTRIBUTION.
LMNO is still putting in much work with Visionaries doing numerous shows, recordings and touring. He is currently promoting his fifth album "WORKETHIC" IN STORES Jan. 23rd on Technicali Sound / Super D Distribution... Give Thanks & GOD BLESS

Grin and bear it
When the crew no longer clicks
Grin and bear it
When those beats don't hit
Grin and bear it
When it's time to call it quits
Grin and bear it
LMNO is the beddy bye blanket
Evidence crank it, if it bubbled I drank it
When it troubled I sank it to the floor
Then watched em face first down at Belmont Shores
Umbilical cord
Pumps anti-animosity
These others must be joshin me
Tossin me hostility
Ruining ability
Savor your agility
Silly me, really he's
Full of insecurity
This isn't singular
It's plural
For all your boys and girls, check the better beat bureau
Got a renewal I'm never expired
Southern cali authority cannons stay fired
Tired of these sleepy-heads,
Poor dreds, multibred, grateful dead,
Misled, tires tread, overfed
Defensive defend
Offensive offend
Cordial conversations helps matters mend
When the cap fitsGrin and bear it
When the crew no longer clicks
Grin and bear it
When those beats don't hit
Grin and bear it
When it's time to call it quits
Grin and bear it
When life's the pits
Grin and bear it
Illegal or legit
Grin and bear it
They really should split
Grin and bear it, hey
Grin and bear it, hey
Grin and bear it
I'm ????? receiving
Like fax machines from preteens
Elders I absorb youthfully
Turn inner beauty out
Reversal
Pause for commercial
Short attention span rehearsal
Couldn't fill the gaps
Who's that puttin heart in it
DJs spinnin for recreation or radio station
Either or is it ignore
Get out if you're bored
My gas pedal's floored
The word of God roared
Tangled mic cords on stage is a snakepit
That's where the fake get
Sent without sunlight
Cryin' they've only done right when that's wrong
Word to mom
They've offended the concentrated temple
At times like these it's hard to stay gentle
When the cap fits
Grin and bear it
When the crew no longer clicks
Grin and bear it
When those beats don't hit
Grin and bear it
When it's time to call it quits
Grin and bear it
When life's the pits
Grin and bear it
Illegal or legit
Grin and bear it
They really should split
Grin and bear it, hey
Grin and bear it, hey
Grin and bear it
In LMNO's song Grin And Bear It, the artist makes use of the phrase "grin and bear it" throughout the chorus of the song. The phrase is reminiscent of the idiom "put on a brave face" and is used to encourage perseverance in the face of adversity or unpleasant situations. The lyrics go on to touch on several different topics, including the music industry, personal struggles, and the need for positive communication.
The artist begins by referencing his own role in the music industry, describing himself as the "beddy bye blanket" and highlighting his association with other musicians such as Evidence. He goes on to describe his own coping mechanisms for dealing with difficult times, such as sinking his troubles "to the floor." He then turns his attention outward, criticizing other musicians for their hostility and lack of ability, and encouraging his listeners to seek out positivity.
Overall, Grin And Bear It is a song that encourages resilience and determination, both in the music industry and in life in general. It highlights the need for positive communication and finding ways to persevere in the face of adversity.
