Each individual member released a single album up until the group's official debut. A new member was introduced each month. Prior to debuting, the members also promoted in sub-units, each with their own defined concept.
On August 7, 2018, after an eighteen-month-long project to introduce the individual members, BlockBerryCreative released "favOriTe" as a pre-release to their upcoming debut album. A week later, on August 15, the tracklist for the album was released and the album was scheduled for August 20. The album was released as [+ +] and the title track chosen for the mini was "Hi High". The mini was positively received, selling over 50,000 copies, the second-best-selling album by a debuting girl group that year, and debuting at #2 on the Gaon Album Chart.
On the 25th of November, 2022, member Chuu was removed.
On the 13th of January, 2023, members Jinsoul, Kim Lip, Heejin and Choerry won a lawsuit against their agency BlockBerry Creative to terminate their exclusive contract.
On the 10th of May, 2023 members Vivi and Hyunjin have also won a lawsuit against their agency BlockBerry Creative to terminate their contract.
On the 16th of June, 2023, members Haseul, Yeojin, Yves, Go Won and Hyeju (formerly known as Olivia Hye) won their cases for contract termination. All 12 members have officially left BlockBerry Creative.
On the 12th of July, members Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Choerry officially had their first comeback as the sub-unit ODD EYE CIRCLE, their redebut being managed by their new company MODHAUS.

04. Yeojin (여진): born in November 2002. Introduced in January 2017. Her animal is a frog and her colour is orange. Represents the slash in 1/3. She is currently under CTDE&M.
05. ViVi (비비): born in December 1996. She is the only foreign member, coming from Hong Kong. Introduced in February 2017, but her representing month is April, due to her single being released during that month. Her animal is a deer and her colour is pastel rose. She is currently under CTDE&M.

06. Kim Lip (김립): born in February 1999. Introduced in May 2017. Her animal is an owl and her colour is red. She is the unit's leader. She is currently under MODHAUS.

08. Choerry (최리): born in June 2001. Introduced in July 2017. Her animal is a fruit bat and her colour is purple. She is currently under MODHAUS.

09. Yves (이브): born in May 1997. Introduced in November 2017. Her animal is a swan and her colour is burgundy. She is the unit's leader. She is not currently under any company.

DO YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT LOONA? WELL, here's a simple introduction:
LOONA (이달의소녀 in Hangeul/ stylized as LOOΠΔ) is a 12 member girlgroup that will debut under BlockBerry Creative in the 2018 (probably the first half like April or May).
They get revealed to the public by one member per month, and when the member is revealed, she releases a SOLO ALBUM with an MV.
The first member revealed was HEEJIN in October. Then, HYUNJIN was revealed in November, after her HASEUL came in December, then you have YEOJIN in January, VIVI in April (in Febraury and March the first SUB UNIT of Loona were promoted, I'll explain you later), then KIMLIP came in May. JINSOUL , the 7th Member was revealed in June, and in this month, July, we have the 8th Member of Loona: CHOERRY

Well, let's go to the sub unit part: LOONA members will promote in three subunits before their debut, Loona 1/3, Loona 2/3 ajd Loona 3/3. Loona 1/3 already debuted and promoted, thevsub unir members are HEEJIN, HYUNJIN, HASEUL, VIVI. They released a mini album and a repackage, with two singles: Love & Live, and Sonatine. Loona 1/3's concept was pure concept and they had another concept that was the WORLD CONCEPT (every Loona 1/3 menbers travelled to diff countries to film their MVs) Heejin went to France, Hyunjin to Japan, Haseul to Iceland and England and Vivi to HongKong (She's from there and the only foreign member yet). Also, they went to New Zealand to film their debut MV. They promoted on Inkigayo (it was so emotional to watch their debut)
And well, now we have new Loona members that will conform Loona 2/3 (will probably debut in August). It will be componed by KimLip, Jinsoul and Choerry! Loona 2/3 will have a girl crush concept and promote as well, and they have A COLOR CONCEPT, since KimLip is RED, Jinsoul is BLUE and Choerry is VIOLET/PURPLE!
