LUV and SOUL Lyrics

変わらない波の音 今も
2人のあやまち 語り合った
変わらないこの海辺で
振り返れば 乗り越えてきたね
どんな時も
想い出 積み重ねて
これからも2人の愛を ずっと
These lyrics from LUV and SOUL's song EPILOGUE describe a couple reflecting on their past mistakes and experiences together as they stand by the unchanging sound of the waves on the beach. They acknowledge the mistakes they have made in the past and how they have overcome them as a couple. The lyrics reflect on the idea that even during tough times, they have accumulated memories that they can cherish forever. The line "これからも2人の愛をずっと" (kore kara mo futari no ai wo zutto) can be translated to "From now on, our love will continue forever."
The lyrics also express a sense of nostalgia as the couple looks back on the good times they had shared. It is apparent that they feel a strong bond of love with each other that will never fade away. Through their experiences together, they have developed a deep understanding of one another, something that is highlighted in these lyrics.
Overall, the song EPILOGUE is about the ups and downs of love and how two people can overcome their mistakes and challenges by sticking together and building a strong relationship.

Mr. Cat
One last dance, one last song unto the end.
In the end, all things come crumbling down.
Mighty fortresses crumble into ruin, great kingdoms meet their end, and even legends fall into the endless night that encompasses all.
The light itself was but a lie, drawing foolish moths to a fading, flickering flame.
The dark embraces the lost and the weary.
Two lost fools, one Unkindled bringer of ash, one Undead bearer of Soul...
And one last dance, to honor the passing of a world,
...
In the end, all is but Ash.
Farewell, o ruinous ash.
May thy peace thou savor.

Hard to believe but it's been 3 years already. 3 years since, in my opinion anyway, the greatest trilogy of this era of gaming ended. A senior in high school at the time, the end to the game, and this song so soon after, got me messed up. It was, and still is, sad to me in a way that words can't quite express. The beginning, and end, of an era in gaming came and went. From the moment I arrived in Lordran, to the time I left for the Kiln of the First Flame in Lothric, this series had been amazing. Then the Ringed City came out. And we got a true end. An end to gods, to dragons, to demons, to humans. It was THE end.
Eventually, the multiplayer services will shut down. Fromsoft will have definitely moved on by then. No more messages, invasions, duels, ganks, jolly cooperation. Empty arenas, always waiting on other players to join.
Despite that, the love for these games will continue on. Perhaps people will come up with their own servers, and host events to bring people back to these lands. But, the fire will fade, and eventually, only embers will remain.
Ashen ones, hearest thou my voice still?

decades later
Gather around, gamers... And let me tell you of a tale of a time long since passed.... Of the greatest rpg that had ever came into existence...
A series that had brought out the souls of all of us... A series that taught us a valuable lesson that many today would still learn... To git gud no matter the challenge...
The tale I tell you
is called... Dark Souls...

It is finally over,
Whenever we chose to link the fire one last time, let it fade so that the cycle may restart at last, or took it for ourselves to usher a completely new age or out of sheer greed, it is finally done.
We brought the lords back to their thrones, slew the tyrant sulyvahn responsible for all the suffering, we helped siegward and maybe anri complete their duty, gave greirat a new purpose, and fell twice for trusty ol' patches.
We made the white haired girl see flame.
We, for one last time, got kicked down a cliff by the unbreakable, but this time as his friend.
And finally, we completed an old slave knights heroic sacrifice so that a new world may be painted.
Maybe, one day we will be able to see it with our own eyes...

Of course the final remix would have the best of the best in it... Although all off your remixes are the best, but to end Dark Souls this is the best (so many bests)

Absolutely Beautiful.

dark souls is like life
brutal, scary, and uncertain, but not without satisfaction

And just like life...it has an end.

Tooth and claw your way to the upper crust gnaw at the ankles of life and bite till your teeth fall out only to be kicked away down to the bottom like the boulder king in Greek myth it’s not a punishment if you enjoy the climb and eventually when the gods tire of your lack of misery you get a success and a heavier boulder
push build strength and climb for what else is there ? 🙂
Toxically Masculine
speak for yourself, mine's easy, trivial, and straightforward, but completely devoid of satisfaction
